hotel rooms in Japan is always small. the room we stay had a tiny window, facing the back alley, no view but quiet. everything is clean and staff speaks basic English. We were there for the Aichi Triennale (very good exhibition) and it's close to the four exhibition areas. restaurant choices are plenty around the hotel. Considering the price, it's...

This hotel is a little gem. Excellent facilities and friendly staff. Very comfortable rooms and the best Japanese breakfast in Nagoya. They will give you more rice and green tea if you ask. Lovely breakfast room. I will be staying here again on my next visit. The staff on the front desk were really helpful and gave us some great...

Location was right between the Science Museum and the Nagoya Castle. Walking distance to both. Subway is right besides. Easy to get there from the train station. Hotel lobby was very nice, but the room were average. We had non-smoking room, but the room smelled of smoke. Nothing much in the neighborhood, but the cafe at the corner had very...

Traveled with a friend in may. We booked a room for three nights from this hotel because of the discounted price and it had a wifi. There is nothing special about this western style hotel. If you are looking for japanese service and style, look elsewhere. The location is ok, but If I were to come to Nagoya again I...

The rooms here were pretty stuffy despite the lobby looking quite attractive. Of course, I'm sure there are better rooms than the one we had. After staying in several different place, hotels and hostel ryokans, this would rank at the bottom of our pile. The staff seemed pretty perplexed conversing in English - just not very approachable in comparison to...

We selected Trusty Hotel Nagoya, the hotel is new, closest subway is Fushimi station, 1 stop from Nagoya station and 1 stop to Sakae, where all department stores line up, 1 stop to Osu Kannon on Tsurumai...

This hotel looks very plush but our room was disappointing. We were not concerned with the size- for Japan it was quite big. But it was dingy with stained carpet and cushions and looked out, round the edge of a partly opened window onto the side of a fire escape and nothing else. The shelf in the wardrobe was dirty...

They had a special - for twin bedroom, that's why we chose it Half Price! Agreeably suprised by the standard of the hotel - huge twin beds made us think that would be a future choice. Staff were most attentive, spoke English and were very helpful. Only disadvantage was that all the Japanese TV programmes were japanese speaking. Even the...
