Located in the center of the red-light district. Multiple girlie bars and massage parlours along the street, and if you go out past 9pm plenty of hookers will proposition you. Despite this it is not far from the tower, wheel, and we walked to science museum. The room itself is very dark(black walls and ceiling don't help) with almost no...

The photos posted of the hotel were photos of somewhere else. Prostitutes loitered in the lobby and waited at the front entrance for customers. Very noisy outside until dawn. Filthy and unkept. I felt like I stayed in a crack house.

This hotel is one of the less nice ones I stayed at in Japan, though even 'not so nice' in Japan meant a decent level of cleanliness. This hotel is mostly about location and affordability. I paid less for a single room than in a hostel; for the official list price this hotel is not worth it, but if you...

The hotel was dingy. Smelled like cigarettes and mothballs. The elevators have no censors so if you don't move quick they will almost crush you. The rooms are small, dark and smelly. We had to rotate our luggage to walk around the room. The bathroom is small and it's not very clean. It feels like somewhere people pay by the...

Had a look at the photos provided. Note that those seem to be supplied by hotel management. Truth is another. Posting photos taken. We were out of hotel for one night and picked what was available via booking.com. This hotel. We paid 9500 yen, which is a sheer rip-off. Especially since we moved over to another hotel the day after...

Reasonably handy to the subway, typical tiny room, shower unit was old and a bit grungy, and the walls were all wallpapered a dark brown, so it was pretty depressing being in the room. Service was friendly, but no wifi in the lobby or rooms; LAN cable only.

This Hotel was cramped, dirty and about 45$ a night. I understand it is a bargain, but two blocks away are a bunch of really nice hotels for about 70$ a night. With clean rooms, elegant feel, and bathrooms you actually want to use. If your budget doesnt accomodate an extra 25$ a night, then perhaps Japan isn't the country...
