The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from JR Kanazawa Station and from the excellent Left Loop / Right Loop shuttle bus service that takes you to all the main attractions. I suggest that you buy a One Day Pass as this is much better value than single fares. The hotel room (810) was typically quite small but had a good work desk / light, a comfortable bed, refrigerator and the usual Japanese small bathroom. Over the hallway were dispensing machines, an ice machine and a microwave oven. A coin laundry is located on 5th floor. My two days were comfortable and convenient.
Hotel is located right next to train station, near bus terminal and close to department store. It’s starting to show its age, a little drab it’s interior. Very small lobby. Typically small rooms, with bed pushed against wall. Breakfast is focused towards Japanese customers, poor selection of western options, such as fruit and cereal. It gets crowded in the morning. When you select a room with breakfast it’s not that economical, I would probably look elsewhere for a larger room and a hotel with better public amenities
We spent one night in Kanazawa city and I don't think we could have found a better place than this: -very close to Kanazawa station / bus terminal -small but satisfying breakfast buffet -room was much larger/cozier than what I expected from a business hotel -well-priced as well!
This is a very central hotel , a few minutes from the train and bus stations. The interior is the usual brown “businessman’s” hotel but it is spacious, clean and the beds are comfortable. Buffet is plentiful with western and Japanese options, staff helpful. Right opposite are two big shopping complexes each with multiple food and drink options so we did not have to go far in the cold and rain. The loop bus leaves from outside. I watched the Sumo wrestling on a large screen in the foyer, local beer was cheap in the vending machines. The only factor in short supply was charm.
Stayed for a couple of nights on way to Tateyama Alpine Route. Excellent location close to JR train station and bus terminal for catching transport about the city. Room was a good size and clean and comfortable. Front desk staff excellent. We organized to forward our suitcase to next hotel and the lovely lady at front desk organized it all for us. No fuss and very efficiently. Thank you so much. Hotel is across round from shopping centre which has many choices of food and restaurants to choose from.
