This was such a lovely place to stay! The location couldn't have been better, we could walk to most things including the beautiful garden. The staff was so nice and the food delicious- be sure to order the meals when you reserve. I even enjoyed the veggie breakfast! Also, they serve noodles in the lobby for the meat eaters. Everything about this hotel was perfect, I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Kanazawa.

This hotel was very stylish and had excellent service and amenities. The bathroom was very nice. The only complaint I have about the room is the same issue I have with Japanese hotels in general - why so much furniture in such a small space? Our twin beds were so close together we couldn’t walk between them unless it was heel to toe as if walking a balance beam, and then they still stick in a table and two chairs. Remove the table and chairs, it will be ok. To get into bed, I had to walk a few steps on the balance beam and jump. I’m not Mary Lou Retton!

We got a very basic room here and it was spacious (for Japan) and beautifully designed. I felt like we were sleeping in a zen spa (indoor garden and pebbles etc). The lobby has tea and juice at all times and a sake bar. Location was easy. Breakfast was great - I had western style and was very very happy but the Japanese style was a tiny challenge for my husband who is normally a VERY adventurous eater. It was good but just more on the adventurous side FYI! :)

We were satisfied with the location . After getting our bearings , could easily walk to the garden . And just a 2 minute walk to the markets . We also walked to Uniqlo , and several other places of interest . A little away from the gold museum , but also a nice walk . Unfortunately , not much storage space , had to live out the suitcase . The web sight showed ' city view ' , but all we could see was the roof of an old house . The complimentary juices and coffee were terrific .

Located close to the Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Gardens, we loved our stay in the well designed modern balcony room. It was a short walk to the Omichi markets, and local bus stops. Would highly recommend for short or longer stays. Self service laundry facilities are easy to use and efficient. Thank you UAN!!
