I stayed at the Emblem for over a week in total (in the dormitories) and it was such a great place, 100% clean, a huge nice kitchen with a lot of good equipment, very very good value for the price and most importantly: the vibe! All the Staff Members are super welcoming, offer help whenever you might need some and overall great people. There are weekly events to get to know local people as well as other guests, which are very enjoyable!
We had a fantastic stay! Our double room with a private sink and shared bathroom was super cozy and comfortable for two people. The shared bathrooms and showers were the cleanest we've seen. Really impressed. The staff were very hospitable, and the breakfast package is a great deal for what you get. Other amenities like the shared kitchen, bicycles, and even umbrellas made it that much more accommodating. And the location is so convenient to the city bus route, market, restaurants, shops, and the best part: the castle and gardens. A big thanks to the lovely staff at Emblem Stay, Kanazawa!
The hotel has a very friendly concept. The shared kitchen is very well equipped and it allows the guest to talk and know each other. It also has other lounge areas in each floor which are very comfortable. The staff is amazing. They speak very good english and can explain to you what to see in kanazawa but also are happy to chat with you about anything. We felt just at home in this hotel. The location is very central, just a nice walk from all the major things in the city. The hotel was very clean. We stayed in a twin room which was small but very well thought. The beds and the bathroom were a very good size and there were plugs and usb chargers even on the top bed. I wish we could have stayed for a little bit longer and enjoy the cooking sessions they hold on Mondays and teach you how to cook some Japanese dishes.…
We stayed for two nights in Emblem Stay Kanazawa in a double ensuite room. The rooms were well-designed — the large balcony windows were a refreshing change from the usual small windows in other places. The lobby bar is a cosy spot to kick back with a drink – or two. The shared kitchen (also on the ground floor) is clean, spacious and has all the mod-cons. What also sets Emblem apart is the friendly service – shout-out to Nozomi from the front desk who never failed to ask how our day was and offer suggestions on where to visit. The hotel is about 5-10 mins by bus from Kanazawa train station and is within walking distance to the Omicho market and Higashi-Chaya district. An excellent choice!
We stayed at the Emblem Flow in Hakone before coming here. Just like the one in Hakone, this is a very modern hostel. We had a private double, which was spacious and clean. The bathroom facilities are also modern and very clean. It’s walking distance from all main attractions. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Food is very yummy and drinks reasonably priced. They offer activities such as cooking classes for a very reasonable price. If ever back in Kanazawa, would definitely stay here again.
