This is one of my favorite hotels in Japan. The service is incredibly friendly and efficient, and the rooms are well-appointed, extremely comfortable and immaculate. For the price, I can't imagine finding anything that matches the quality here. This hotel is easy walking distance from all the best attractions, including the Omicho market and the Kanazawa Castle and gardens. One of the highlights of this gleaming city are its phenomenal restaurants, and several of them are very close to the Intergate, namely Aguri and Kourin. The hotel offers a relaxing happy hour with complimentary Italian wine, as well as relaxing onsens for unwinding after a day of walking. While all staff were helpful, I especially was impressed with Hitomi, who went out of her way to be accommodating. If you need the ultimate hotel, book a room here and enjoy the best of Kanazawa.

We stayed here three nights at the end of a 10-day Japan visit. About a 15-minute walk from Kanazawa Station — nice with the good weather. We found our room cleans SB comfortable, especially the pajamas and slippers. Free lobby food was fun, too — coffee and fruit/tomato “smoothie” 6-7am, “honey bar” and wine in late afternoon, then “ochazuke” buffet with lots of rice and pickles after 9pm. Modern take on communal bath was nice, too, after three days previous in traditional ryokan. Quite convenient to all sites we wanted to visit. Not the most outwardly friendly staff, but we didn’t really need anything from them so that was ok.

We had expected that a hotel that was recently opened in March 2019 would be clean and the service impeccable. Sadly it is not. We arrived at the Hotel by taxi (5 mins from Kanazawa Station) and were greeted by NOBODY. The front desk staff pretended that she did not see me and continued to do what she was doing. We picked the most expensive "JUNIOR SUITE" on the top floor. When we entered, two pieces of "complimentary mineral water" flaps were inserted into the card key port. Is this a joke or something?! Obviously it was not, as the other areas of the so-called SUITE were equally disturbing. Dusts were everywhere. Objects lied askew or were not placed properly. In short, a room totally not yet ready for guests. Breakfast selection and taste was negligible. The much-raved free flows throughout the day offered nothing impressive. Definitely not worth the price. The experience is so disappointing that we will not stay in any Intergate hotels in the future.

Avoid unless you want to pay and be treated like beggars. As pointed out by another reviewer, they will lie in your face. Manager and front desk have zero regard for guests, just one example would be how they will snatch room card from guests’ hands without the basic manners and courtesy to ask. A complete disgrace to the organisation and shows lack of personal upbringing, ridiculous how these people are supposed to be in the “hospitality” business

Lovely hotel with clean room and super comfy bed. Unfortunately didn't have time to use the facilities at this hotel, but they looked good. Happy hour serving drink and range of food which was great as we got to try new things. Staff were nice and friendly.
