I stayed here recently with my boyfriend for one night and it was fabulous. The room was comfortable (a little cold at night but there is a heater in the room), everything was really clean, the house was cosy and our hosts were really helpful. The location is good too with Kanazawa station only a short walk away, where you...

We are a family of 5 so looking for suitable, and moderately priced accommodation for a family of our size in Japan was going to be a challenge. We wanted to spend 7 days in Kanazawa so we wanted somewhere affordable, centrally located and not in a space where we were all lumped together on futons on the floor. The...

This was a lovely hostel with a very homey feel. Our host was kind and helpful with sightseeing suggestions. He also spoke very good English, which was a rare find in Japan. I recommend Guesthouse Namaste. Some reviews mention that Guesthouse Namaste only has one bathroom, which is not the case. There are two toilet rooms and one shower room...

We haven't stayed in any guesthouse in Japan for a long time. This is because the rate for 2 people is higher than staying in a hotel. After surfing the net, we found this guesthouse was cheaper than hotel and the location + comments were great. We gave it a try. It took us a lot of time to find...

Had a great stay at the Namaste guesthouse in Kanazawa. Personnel is super kind and gives great recommendations about the neighborhood. All the rooms and sanitary are very clean, and shampoo and shower gel is even provided ! I would highly recommend the dormitory (male and female separated), where you share a room with 2 or 3 people and sleep...

What are nice memories to you? For me one of them is my visit to Japan and my stay at Namaste guest house. Nice and cozy, located nearby the railway station, Namaste guest house is a perfect spot for travelers who seek for good place at a decent price. It will take you about 5-7 minutes to get from JR...

I liked this guesthouse very much and it was my best stay in this Japan trip. You can experience how Japanese live and their lifestyle. The host is very friendly and he shows the guesthouse"s environment and suggestion for sightseeing clearly. Although this guesthouse can only accommodate few guests, he treats this business seriously.

This was the second time we stayed at Guesthouse Namaste in Kanazawa. This time we stayed 3 nights with family (10 people). We occupied all rooms and thus had the house to ourselves. We cooked our own meals and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the guesthouse. It was a home away from home. Thank you Makoto for your excellent hospitality.

We had a good time at this well organised guesthouse! The owner is very hospitable and the location is about 8 min walk from Kanazawa station. Recommended if you're up to a place to stay that is not very pricy. Towels for rent, two toilets and shower rooms as well as washing machine.
