It is 15 min walk from the JR station, close to the Asahichi Fish Market. The hotel looks new but the East Wing that i stayed in was a little dated and odd. The door of the hotel is all metal, room is very small. Air conditioning/heat is very noisy. This is the worst room I ever have in Japan....

Most hotels in Japan are really small but this was really big. I'm not sure if it's because Hakodate has much more land to build on but it was a nice surprise. The rooms are clean and the staff spoke English fairly well. It's location is well within walking distance from the jr station and very close to the fish...

Newly-renovated hotel with clean and spacious rooms. As the other reviewers have said, it's proximity to the morning market, Kanemori warehouse and JR Hakodate Station is a plus, although dragging a luggage through mounds of snow may be a bit tricky for some. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, since staff converse rather comfortably in English. The pick-up for the...

The hotel is located a 10-minute walk from the JR Hakodate Station. Upon exiting, look for Mount Hakodate and walk towards it and you should be at the front entrance. Alternatively follow the shoreline and walk in the same direction and that route will bring you to the rear entrance of the hotel. Either way, it'll bring you pass the...

I like the location a lot. It is 5 minute walk to the morning market. Also it is walking distance to JR, main tourists spots and good restaurants. There is shuttle bus to the airport in front of the hotel. Also the bus to the mountain lookout is very close to the hotel too. The hotel lobby is really spacious....

Hotel is located close to the JR Station Hakodate, about 10mins walk away. But if you are carrying luggage, and if it is winter, the walk to the hotel could be really challenging. It would be advisable to take a taxi, which will be ¥550, the meter doesn't jump. The hotel is also close to the Morning Market (5 mins)...

Stayed in one of the cheaper single rooms in the east wing. The room was small, but not the smallest that I've stayed in Japan. Bed was comfortable, and useful selection of amenities. A little too warm, with no way of cooling down (windows didn't open). My booking included breakfast, and the buffet was fantastic. Front desk staff were very...

My first time in Hakodate and staying at the Hakodate Kokusai Hotel. Took the Hakodate Airport bus shuttle to the JR station. Cost 410 yen and took about 20 minutes. You might want to check if the shuttle may also make drop-off across the street from this hotel. A previous review mentioned when exiting the JR station looking right for...

Location is perfect. Within walking distance from JR station, morning market & Hakodate red brick factory. We tried their breakfast spread, and it was pretty good. Room size is good, However bed is very very uncomfortable. Its very springy and poor quality (have not encounter anything like tat in other hotels in jpn).

Stayed a night, general location is right behind the port and as usual surrounded by convenient stores. Room wise is your typical Japanese hotel with a suitable sized bedroom and a smaller bathroom. Didn't explore the hotel proper but seems like there is a chapel in house and a bridal store. Would assume its popular for weddings. Tried the morning...
