My husband and I traveled to Japan about 5 weeks after the tsunami/earthquake (we had already made all of our plans) and Kirinoya Ryokan was our first Japanese experience. The owner is very nice, and understands/speaks basic English. The ryokan is old and certainly shows...More

We googled their name, brought up their website and emailed them through the website. You cannot pay in advance, only cash on arrival. Sorry, I'd attach the link but tripadvisor blocks them. Enjoy your stay!! It's fabulous!
