The staff is very helpful and polite (of course, we are in Japan). Rooms are not big but not too small. All in all a nice stay. Breakfast is not impressive, I would say Asians are not too good with that.

Located just a minute's walk away from JR Mito Station, the Hotel is extremely convenient. There is a spa / public bath on the 5th floor. Although the furniture and fixture is rather aged, the guestroom is quite spacious. I wish the television was bigger. Breakfast at the Italian restaurant on the ground floor offers a wide selection of food....

Once again being the area for business I have picked up the Terrace The Garden Mito. Happy again of the choice, nice interior, good service and simply excellent breakfast buffet. However this time my stay was disturbed by the fact I was initially given a room above the public path at the 6th floor. Please avoid it absolutely if you...

Arrived with a business group late around 22:00. The limousine bus station is adjacent to the hotel which is placed by the mito station. Great! -reception: young staff...

We stayed there for two nights in March 2016. Here is my review: Location: Excellent. Right next to Mito Station. Easy access to the trains and to the shopping areas at the station. Hotel Staff: Excellent. Friendly helpful staff. Staff spoke some English, which was enough for what we needed but don't expect fluent English speakers when you check in....

Hotel Terrace The Garden, Mito, is a reasonably-priced hotel that is up to Japanese-business-hotel standards. Its location is hard to beat, and the rooms are slightly larger than many of its direct peers, but the hotel suffers from a few issues that tend to plague many event-center hotels: inconsistent service to travelers not there as part of an event. Generally...

Perfect location when you arrive with the train and like to have plenty of restaurants and shopping choices. The rooms are not really big but you have everything you need. The hotel facilities offers sauna and a small hot springs (onsen). Unfortunately they don't have a fitness room. The breakfast buffet offers international and Japanese style.

History: Originally built and opened in 2004 Location: South side of Mito train station, only 2 minutes walk from there. Centrally located in the city. Interior Decor: Well maintained and inviting atmospheric lobby on the 3rd floor. Guest room I stayed features good sense of furniture design and style, although window pane was a bit worn. Exterior Apperance: One of...
