We stayed 2 nights and had a room with private onsen and loved it. Room was very large with view of the river. We ate in the private dining areas which was lovely - some of the Japanese food was a bit adventurous for me...More
The food quality here is superb. The sleep quality is also very good. We had a room with two western beds and one futon on tatami. The onsen quality is also very good and not crowded, not even the walk-in private time-share onsens. The reception...More

Stayed with my wife here.
The highlight was the dinner.
Each and every item was superb.

Best materials are selected, greatly cooked, and gorgeously displayed.
The hot spring bath is another great feature.

Hi there, in my room there were futons laid out on a platform bed (I had one of the junior suites). The room was large enough so the table and chairs were out all of the time, not the situation where the beds are made in the evening and then rolled away to put out a table and chairs.
I've got to tell you, if you can, I recommend one of the suites, the bathrooms were so amazing and peaceful...total relaxation.
