This is a great place to stay! We expected a tiny room but were pleasantly surprised at the size...not as big as most American hotels/motels but bigger than a chain hotel we stayed in last year in NYC. There is a train station one block away, as well as several convenience stores. The rooms are bright & clean, daily room service, large TV, & great customer service. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Yokohama.

First up the only reason I’m giving this a 3 star review is we had booked a double room to accommodate our 9yr old and it was not available when we got here. There is no such thing as a trundler bed so she had to share with us or have no bed. Being Kiwis we were very inventive and made a bed from the little chair, our suitcases and pillows. No worries mate 😃 The hotel itself was perfectly positioned near the trains and was close to many restaurants so we never had to walk far to get meals. A basic cooked breakfast is included in the tariff from the little cafe downstairs which was handy but we stayed for 10 days so got sick of the same thing and mixed it up a bit with local cafes. But that’s just us getting a bit of variety. The staff on the desk were INCREDIBLY helpful ensuring I was able to buy pre paid tickets for Universal Studios in Osaka which is a big day trip for us. They spent HOURS translating the site and working out what I needed. We were very grateful for their patience and time. The housekeeping staff are swift and efficient and cleaned our room to a high standard each day quite early in the morning in case we needed to use the room throughout the rest of the day. The rooms are small but the shower has great pressure and we made it work. There is a free laundry. Just need to pay for washing powder which is cheap.

Thank you for your staying. Sorry for the lack of extra beds. We look for what we can do to make your child feel as comfortable as possible. Thank you for your opinion of the hotel breakfast. We will try to develop a menu that will not get bored even if you stay for a long time. There are many restaurants around the hotel. I think so, it was not inconvenient. Thank you for praise about stuff. Customer satisfaction will lead to our future. The second floor washer and dryer are free. Detergents and softeners are sold for 100 yen. Loved the staff who was fluent enough in English. The rooms were larger than the usual hotel rooms in Japan... Not big, but large enough to move. The bed was very comfy and so were the memory foam pillows. The only downside was having to pay the laundry service directly, as they can't charge it to your room account.

We booked this hotel because we had stayed at the chain's Mt Fuji hotel. The entrance is clean and tidy . The staff very friendly and welcoming. At least you couldn't smell cigarette smoke anywhere. Wife was good and there was a charger in the room. Room was described as Superior. Well is is very slightly larger than a standard room. Dull decor with little artwork to brighten it up.
We were very disappointed with the following:
No lounge for visitors Towels very small and thin No English explanation of aircon controls Aircon would automatically switch off in the middle of the night and the room was stifling. Advertised breakfast was in adjacent cafe. Food was poor quality western style. NO Japanese food!. 10 minutes before the end of breakfast they stopped replenishing dishes. Food ran out. The toaster was a sandwich griller, so didn't brown. Only white bread. Only breakfast & green tea, no herbal.
I don't know how it got a high rating. Must have been backpackers.
Price really dropped the night before compared to what we paid.

Room had every imaginable amenity. We were on a long trip with lots of luggage, so the floor became a bit of an obstacle course, but in every other way we were comfortable. Breakfast buffet was more than adequate. I would definitely return. Across the street from Kannai train/subway station entrance with elevator. Lots of places of interest within walking distance.

This wasn't a bad place to stay, as I did, for a conference at Pacifico. My single room was clean. However, it was quite small and tight. The complementary breakfast offered at the adjoining restaurant was surprisingly good, although again, the premises were quite cramped. My biggest complaint is that irons were not provided in the rooms, and during a 5-day stay, it wasn't possible for the hotel to provide me with an iron and board because other guests had them, which is a surprising omission for a hotel that would seem to cater to business travelers. (Simple tip to hotel: buy some more irons and boards!)

We stayed here the first night on our 8-day Japan trip. Never expected much as I understand hotel rooms in big cities in Japan are pathetically small. This one (twin room) is about 25sqm so without a lot of luggage yet on the first night, we are very satisfied with the space.
What I never expected is the latex foam pillow, which I have to say I've never seen that being offered anywhere in any hotel. For me who needs special support for my neck, seeing this almost makes me cry. I guess I had the best sleep you can ever get when you are on vacation. They have an air purifier in room (which is now basic amenities in hotel rooms in Japan) and also use the local luxury brand Pola as bathroom amenities. Another thumbs up to that (especially for us ladies). They even provide DHC skincare samples at the lobby level.
Didn't try their F&B so couldn't comment but in terms of location, it's near to shopping and dining and even to the red brick house it's only within 10-20 minutes ride, which is super convenient for us who rented a car.

Very pleased with this hotel and enjoyed a comfortable night stay.
Originally booked into Daiwa Roynet Yokohama by travel agents but checked out as very disappointed with dirty dark room. Researched and booked Mystays hotel and so glad we did.
Friendly and efficient check in process.
We opted for a Deluxe twin room as offered more space and met our needs. Well appointed with good storage space and good bathroom area. No complaint whatsoever and didn't feel cramped during Typhoon.
Breakfast is served on hotel restaurant on ground floor and was satisfactory. Also consider room only and dine at Cafe destination Cler across road as they offer s breakfast special for 500 yen.
Modern laundry acilities on floor 2 and cheapest we have used on Japan.
Excellent location as 5 minutes from Kannai station offeringinks to everywhere on JR lines. Subway opposite hotel as,is public bus stop. A wide range of restaurants in immediate vicinity and a short walk to marina area.
Would stay here again if visiting Yokohama.

Thank you for your staying. It looks like you had a hard time staying at our hotel. You seemed to be able to spend comfortably, we are glad. Thank you for praise about stuff. We relieved that you were able to find a good cafe around our hotel. Thank you for praising about a bathroom. We were worried about a big typhoon, but I was relieved that there was no problem. The second floor washer and dryer are free. Detergents and softeners are sold for 100 yen. Please use it to make your stay more comfortable. Backpacking through Japan, this was one of the best sleeps I had. Memory foam pillows, about 5 pillows in my bed total, AC (though confusing to use bc it's in Japanese), a roomy bathroom, TV, and decent window view. About 15 min Walking distance to the harbour and shops, but right next to Subway. The lobby is tiny, not really any waiting area.
