Situated in a nice location 3 mnts walking distance from Kannai JR , Kannai Subway and Bashamichi stsn.
Rooms are. Bigggggg. - if u have been to Japan before u will know how pathetic the room size normally is :). This was the reason I stayed there for such a long time.
But stayaway from this Hotel on Saturday nights ---- price goes to as high as 24000¥ on saturdays :) .... U shld plan ur visit like --->. Sunday chk in and Saturday chk out.
[My bill was paid by my Company :) ]
Overalll. Great experience :):):):).)
The hotel's location is its main selling point - and you are within 10-15 mins walk to most major landmarks around Yokohama.
This is the perfect choice for business. The staff is great and the room is stocked with all amenities. It's a small room, but well designed and the bathroom is well-sized. Location is very central.
Unfortunately, I made a mistake in the booking process and booked a double room for my family (2 adults one child age 8). The room had only one double bed, so my child ended up sleeping on a top of the comforter on the small space on the floor. We decided it would be too much trouble to move, but the deluxe double looked much better with a queen bed, more space and the possibility of a sofa couch. Next time I will try booking that. The hotel could make the website clearer, but I largely fault myself.
Service was great. We sent our luggage ahead by post and they had it waiting in the room for us. They offered a variety of Pola cosmetics and amenities at check-in and the room was stocked with great products. My daughter was given a children's bag of stuff at checkin in that included teddy bear slippers. We skipped the hotel breakfast for Starbucks across the street. There is another coffee shop in the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood, but it is surprisingly quiet.
I will definitely stay here again - just in a larger room.
The hotel is next to the Kannai subway station; note that this is different from the Kannai JR station, which is slightly further away. You can walk to all the major spots in Yokohama from here. It's a 10 min walk west to Sakuragicho station, from which you have access to major shopping malls and the Red Brick Warehouse area. It's also a 10 minute walk east to Chinatown, and another 5 min walk from there to the Motomachi area. The hotel is also surrounded by quite a few bars and restaurants, some of which are open rather late (I had ramen at 1230am in Kannai). There're also the obligatory 24h convenience stores.
The hotel itself is strictly business standard, meeting it's adequate and nothing more. Rooms are rather small, and bathrooms are your standard pre-fab Toto ones. The bed is rather comfortable and there is even space for a desk.
Service is great, as expected. I paid about USD140/room, which I thought was rather pricey for how basic the room is.
Would recommend to friends visiting Yokohama.
