This hotel is a great value for the room and location. The room itself is clean, well stocked with typical Japanese toiletries, and has self-regulating heat/air conditioning which is nice. The location is fantastic...you are a 10 minute walk from Cosmo World/Brick warehouse district/shopping. The breakfast was so yummy...Thai, Japanese, and Western selections. There are many delicious restaurants as well..I would recommend Piacere(Italian) and Sinha teahouse which are a short walk away. I would definitely stay again. I booked far enough in advance so our room with breakfast was about $100 (USD) a night. What a great value!!! Love Richmond hotels. Make sure to get off at Bashamichi station(Minato-Mirai line) instead of Kannai station(JR) as it is closer(exit 5).

I stayed at this hotel for almost 50 nights in last 2 months. And I. Ust say itwas a pleasing experience ..... Almost all the staffs can communicate in English. Always helpful ...

Situated in a nice location 3 mnts walking distance from Kannai JR , Kannai Subway and Bashamichi stsn.

Rooms are. Bigggggg. - if u have been to Japan before u will know how pathetic the room size normally is :). This was the reason I stayed there for such a long time.

But stayaway from this Hotel on Saturday nights ---- price goes to as high as 24000¥ on saturdays :) .... U shld plan ur visit like --->. Sunday chk in and Saturday chk out.

[My bill was paid by my Company :) ]

Overalll. Great experience :):):):).)

Well appointed business hotel in the center of Yokohama. Between two main underground lines and walking distance (15 min) to the harbour park and main attractions The Richmond delivers creature comforts in style and space. Surprisingly large rooms, friendly reception and excellent breakfast included (separately only Yen 1100 ~ 10 USD). Warmly recommended.

The hotel is decent with necessary amenities to ensure you have a fuss-free stay in central Yokohama.

The hotel's location is its main selling point - and you are within 10-15 mins walk to most major landmarks around Yokohama.

I am giving this a four based on the double room that I booked, but I am looking forward to giving the deluxe double a try (and possibly a hire rating) in the future.

This is the perfect choice for business. The staff is great and the room is stocked with all amenities. It's a small room, but well designed and the bathroom is well-sized. Location is very central.

Unfortunately, I made a mistake in the booking process and booked a double room for my family (2 adults one child age 8). The room had only one double bed, so my child ended up sleeping on a top of the comforter on the small space on the floor. We decided it would be too much trouble to move, but the deluxe double looked much better with a queen bed, more space and the possibility of a sofa couch. Next time I will try booking that. The hotel could make the website clearer, but I largely fault myself.

Service was great. We sent our luggage ahead by post and they had it waiting in the room for us. They offered a variety of Pola cosmetics and amenities at check-in and the room was stocked with great products. My daughter was given a children's bag of stuff at checkin in that included teddy bear slippers. We skipped the hotel breakfast for Starbucks across the street. There is another coffee shop in the hotel. There are a lot of restaurants in the neighborhood, but it is surprisingly quiet.

I will definitely stay here again - just in a larger room.

Stayed here for one night for a weekend away from Tokyo.

The hotel is next to the Kannai subway station; note that this is different from the Kannai JR station, which is slightly further away. You can walk to all the major spots in Yokohama from here. It's a 10 min walk west to Sakuragicho station, from which you have access to major shopping malls and the Red Brick Warehouse area. It's also a 10 minute walk east to Chinatown, and another 5 min walk from there to the Motomachi area. The hotel is also surrounded by quite a few bars and restaurants, some of which are open rather late (I had ramen at 1230am in Kannai). There're also the obligatory 24h convenience stores.

The hotel itself is strictly business standard, meeting it's adequate and nothing more. Rooms are rather small, and bathrooms are your standard pre-fab Toto ones. The bed is rather comfortable and there is even space for a desk.

Service is great, as expected. I paid about USD140/room, which I thought was rather pricey for how basic the room is.

Would recommend to friends visiting Yokohama.

Hotels in Japan tend to be quite pricey as they charge per person, but this hotel offered a lot for the price and is convenient to two different train stations. It also is close to the Yokohama pier with shopping, a ferris wheel and amusement park as well as tasty restaurants of a variety of cultures.

Great location to get around and experience Yokohama. The room was modern and comfortable. Lots of restaurants and cafes can be found near the hotel. The hotel has a nice restaurant also that is good for a quick bite to eat. The staff were fantastic and very friendly.

The best option is by bus. Taxi from hotel to bus station in Yokohama and take Narita express (double check name) They have many services. It goes on time!!
