We had booked a double room with a bay view for a very reasonable price. I cannot tell you what it was like as we were upgraded to a Privilege King suite on the 17th floor. A magnificent way to end our holiday in Japan. The room was huge with a separate lounge area and with full length windows to... More

One night family stay. Very friendly and efficient check in. Rooms had a lot of space and great view. Drinks in the evening were very plesant and the staff were very friendly. Beds were comfortable and firm. Breakfast the next day was very nice with a wide range of choices, the "local" curry was very nice. Checkout was very quick.... More

Having just stayed at a Novotel chain hotel in France, I was very surprised to find a property in Yokosuka, near Yokohama, Japan. The hotel appears to do a brisk wedding business with French food and amenities, although the US naval base nearby may provide a fair number of foreign visitors. The room was larger than a business hotel, and... More

Stayed in hotel in May. This is a great value hotel, giving a feeling of luxury and service at reasonable price. The hotel lobby is much larger and fancier than other Japanese hotels at this price. The rooms although not really large are very well designed and appointed. Free Wi-Fi works well and beds are comfortable. Had a room overlooking... More

Enjoyed a 2 week stay. Perfectly located for easy access to the Naval Base. Larger rooms than the typical Japanese hotels, and reasonably priced. Definitely higher class than the Hotel New Yokosuka but does not have the free breakfast.

This hotel is very clean and nice. If you can't get into the "apartment suites" at New Yokosuka, Hotel Mercure is a great option. They are located right across the street from a big mall, and at the end of the "Honcho" street with all of the bars and to restaurants. A nice option if you are in Yokosuka on... More

Stayed here for a week as it was close to work. It is a very short walk to the shipyard/naval base. It is also directly across the street from a decent sized shopping mall with a fair amount of restaurants inside. Very close to the Shioiri train station but a little walk from the Yokosuka train station. I was upgraded... More

Stayed here several times now, and it is always good. If you can score a corner room, your set. Much larger with a separate seating area, fridge and microwave. Breakfast comes with most room rates and is excellent. Continental breakfast starts at 6 and full buffet at 630. Staff is very friendly and little or no language barrier (English). Another... More

This is a nice hotel that is in a good location in Yokosuka. It's not a far walk to any of the train stations and is close to the water and to the naval base. The view rooms are nice. The room size is decent and the bathroom is good. There is a hot water pot and coffee and tea.... More

I was extremely pleased with our stay here. There was a problem with our booking date (at no fault of the hotel) the front desk manager, Akio Sunami, was extremely accommodating and helpful.
