We drove from Osaka to this hotel at Nara and the car park of the hotel is not easy to find and need to pay.The rooms are smelly and the carpet is dirty but big enough to open 2 luggage on the floor. The staff are unfriendly and although we paid for the breakfast, we gave up when we saw...

First of all, we thank you very much for staying with us the other night and making this precious remarks about our hotel as well. It is really sad to hear that you had a hard time to find a car park of our hotel on your arrival. Since we are located in downtown Nara, one of the oldest district...

This place has a weird feeling, like it might have been modern fifty years ago. Now it just feels run down, with unclean halls and rooms and wifi that only works in one room downstairs. Also, the location kind of sucks, as it's off to the side of the city away from the nice and fun stuff. Avoid this one.

If you want the feeling of a Japanese hotel with the amenities of a western style hotel, this is the place. The lobby has both Japanese and western style sitting rooms. The beds are on a raised platform with mattresses. If you want to experience a public bath, this is your opportunity. There is a public bath in the basement...

We got a good last minute deal on this room on booking.com and felt we really got value for money. The room was spacious, a treat after staying in a business hotel the night before, really well appointed, comfortable, aesthetically pleasing (like the rest of the hotel) and immaculately clean. The shared bath in the basement provided a wonderful way...

Booked the traditional Japanese room, with a single night stay to see Nara. Pleasantly surprised by the Hotel - very authentic, traditional feel to the Hotel. The staff were lovely - and let us check in ahead of official check in time. While the Hotel is a little older than some, it was clean, rooms of a reasonable size for...

Thank you very much for visiting Nara and making a plan to stay with us the other day. It was also our pleasure to have you all. Though some of our staff cannot speak other languages well, we appreciate your kind understanding of what we are trying to say. According to your comments, we got to communicate with you during...

Our main problem with our stay in this hotel was that it wasn't as nice as the two places we stayed at beforehand in Tokyo, which were REALLY nice. But to be fair to this hotel, our stay was very enjoyable. Nara is small enough that any location is a good one, and this one was fine in that respect,...

Good location (10 mins walk to main station and not far to some of the tourist hotspots). Excellent breakfast, very clean rooms (not huge) and there are 2 private baths to hire (500Yen). Comfortable accommodation to visit Nara.
