A hotel that is convenient to reach, comfortable to stay and reasonably priced. It is just steps away from the JR train station, connected by a walking bridge from the train station exit. The hotel is good for business travel or for a couple to visit Nara for a stay that is reasonably priced. The breakfast is great, with traditional...

As a longtime (since the early 1960's) traveler/visitor to Japan, the Hotel Nikko Nara is a hotel I would recommend to all visitors ... and one comfortable to the English-speaking first-time visitors interested in the historic city of Nara. It is next to the JR station (a 2-3 minute walk) where you can easily travel to other cities by train....

Hotel Nikko Nara is very conveniently located right next to JR train station (2 min walk), yet you cannot see or hear the train and the hotel is very quiet. The room was very nice, good size, air-conditioned, with free Wi-Fi, and TV (programs are in Japanese). The bed was very comfortable, the bath deep, bath slippers and bathrobe were...

Just beside the JR train station in Nara so it was very handy to just drop off our luggage and then wander into town. It was about a 20 minute walk from the hotel to the five tiered pagoda (kofukuji) and a further 10 minutes to the main temple in Nara Park, Todaiji. Really good location since it is very...

Part of our Japan trip itinerary is to stay overnite in Nara to see the Giant Buddha Statue & Deer Park. Upon arrival, we were delighted that Hotel Nikko Nara is just few steps away from the JR station. Checkin was fast, the room was nice- spacious except their bathroom. Toilet seat is heated! Bed was comfy and we had...

It is very near to the JR station and a big supermarket. The hotel price is relatively cheap compared to other area. The room is very nice and the cleaning staff will leave you lovely origami beside the pillow. It will be better if the wifi signal is stronger in the room.

We came to Nara from Kyoto by train(JR) to stay just 1 night and to leave to Osaka next day. It was very convenient since the Hotel was attached to the station. The room was in a good size for a Japanese hotel and the bathroom was clean with a deep bathtub. We were on the 10th floor with the...

We weren't planning an overnight stay in Nara but we're glad we did! It's a beautiful hotel connected to the station. Nara is a charming town and worth an overnight stay if you have the time instead of just a day trip. Rooms were very nice and staff was friendly. Nothing stays open late though!

Great location - hotel Nikko Nara is directly connected to the JR Station therefore make sure you arrive via JR train , coz Kintetsu station is .5 km away from hotel. JR station is main transportation hub of Nara for local buses. There is AEON Supermarket on the ground level and affordable restaurant in & out of the station ....

A very comfortable Hotel with all the amenities you would want. Located right adjacent to the Nara Railway Station. The rooms were of good size for Japanese Hotels, nice and quiet with very comfortable beds. The breakfasts were excellent with good choice in the buffet for whatever style of food you were looking for. Whilst the bathroom was really of...
