Large multi-building hotel crowded with many guests - I prefer smaller less busy hotels. Could not accommodate our tour group in a separate room for dinner and breakfast.

You have shuttle bus from Beppu station every 30 minutes. The hotel is very big and has all you can want. In my opinion, panoramic onsen is the better attraction. Excellent general service. To consider the hotel can accommodate many people
There is no pool open after summer. You would be better to check on their website. However, the light show is great. You can still have a good time there since it's a nice resort with great onsen. Enjoy your time there.
