Place is a standard beach resort. Bars didn't have any cold beers. Bar waiters were very rude. Room a.c wasn't working, had no curtains, red ants everywhere. Food was the same everyday. Not good for a vegetarian. Would not recommend at all.

We spend three nights here after three nights at the Masai Mara Nature Reserve. It was just what the whole family needed after three days on safari. Good food, beautiful spacious rooms, comfortable lounge seating everywhere, cool breezes and loads of other families. Could've have easily spent a week here. Wished I had more time to explore Malindi. We did...

It was very tranquil overall. The pool side was always a combination of restful and fun with the "Water aerobics!" Towards lunch time. I liked the separation of the main beach to the small portion for the private section reserved for the hotel this allows you to enjoy the sun and sand without having to be harassed by the hawkers....

I stayed at Sandies, Tropical village for one night with family on 23rd July, 2016. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The hotel rooms are outdated, no hooks or towel rails in the showers. Some of the fans were not functioning. The food was good though. They need to get with the times and stop having one man...

One of the restaurant staff said how much he enjoyed working there and it showed. The locals are easy going and very friendly. The do take ‘no’ for an answer if you dont wish to buy what...

We actually stayed there during the Easter holidays, for 4 nights and the place was better than our expectations. We got a nice room with a big patio on the first floor, a bit away from the reception area which is what i recommend. The resort has a big lounge are in the middle close to the reception. There is...
