So many others have said all that we would - but we spent three of the most glorious days at the lodge...each room is absolutely stunning - being able to lounge in the pool and look out over an elephant coming up to the river is priceless. From the amazing food (thanks for the gourmet pizza's from your poolside oven!)...

We are extremely happy that you enjoyed your time with us at Sasaab and grateful that you’ve shared your thoughts. Chef Peter is grinning from ear to ear to hear that you specifically mentioned how much you liked the pizzas from the pizza oven by the pool. We will share your lovely comments with the whole team. By the way,...

Sasaab is a very upscale "camp". When first entering our tent, my breath was taken away by the elegance, views, and sheer luxury. The entire stay was perfect, in addition to safari and game watching, we visited a local village and a goat killing ceremony. The guides were excellent, but the overall facilities and operations of the camp were perfect.

We won a three night stay here as part of the Sunday Times travel competition, and it was truly exceptional. The lodge was absolutely stunning, and we loved having our own private plunge pool (freezing cold but perfect after a hot and dusty game drive!) with views over the riverbed. The rooms are very open but designed so that they...

There was a certain amount of apprehension about traveling to Kenya, concerns about security, disease, and the overall unknown. Our trepidations were quickly put to rest from the moment we stepped off the 747 in Nairobi and were met by a friendly private Safari Collection representative who took us on a private shuttle ahead of the rest of the passengers...

My friend and I were blessed to be able to travel to Samburu and stay at this amazing lodge. Our "tent" was so incredibly beautiful with the lovely Moroccan design, a beautiful sofa for reading and relaxing and a lovely patio with chaise lounges and a plunge pool. I don't know why but every plunge pool I have ever been...

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Sasaab for 3 nights out of our 9 night Safari trip and Sasaab was my absolute favorite! The resort itself is incredibly beautiful, Ron and Margaret are doing an amazing job running this resort. They made us feel very welcome and right at home. Ron & Maragaret were also great about giving...

Sasaab is a fabulaous lodge with excellent facilities for adults or children over at least 10 yrs old. It is set on a dramatic site in the bush with excellent views in most directions. We were given delicious food and looked after brilliantly by the African staff although we did not have the same confidence in Ron the american manager....

Truly 5 star accomodation and service, matched by an exceptional bush experience. The attention to detail is brilliant. Thanks to the team. Ron, Margaret ang Gabriel!! We saw leopards, lions, elephants, many type of buck, an owl on top of a kill. Given the dry conditions we got to see a lot more by foot as well which was a...

At first glance Sasaab Lodge is a collection of traditionally styled bungalows perched on an arid hillside above a dry river bed. But wait, it rains during the night and the river is running a banker again. The lodges are a blend of traditional architecture with a tent inside and a distinctive Moroccan style decor - simply stunning. Perched high...

Sasaab is a hidden gem in the area. The accomodation is just amazing. Totally open enourmous bedrooms covered with mosquito nets at night. Pool. Outdoor bathroom which still secure full privacy (with the exception of elephants looking up from the river and monkeys down from the trees). The team takes care of any question and knows how to make you...
