After the price we paid we expected something better. The room was clean, gardens nice etc. The beach was overgrown preventing us to swim at this beach. Nearly everything was extra. No drinking water provided. All water had to be bought at the bar. (Suggest you bring your own). The food took up to an 1.5 hours to prepare. Suggest...

Beautiful location in a calm bay! I have been traveling in Malawi for som time now and this place is something special! I loved the hidden bar between the rocks overlooking the sunset and lake Malawi. Dinner was exceptionally good, and the staff very friendly! In the morning we saw baboons playing at the beach. A place to reconnect to...

Ok, the view got us to stay, on theedge of Lake Malawi a few meters up with a good view on the lake (through the trees, ofc) from the terrace and also from the balcony of our Banda. Apart from that, well, Breakfast was rather lousy (and overran by ants on Day 1), not much choice at all, the well-advertised...

Completly overpriced and in need of maintenance. Mattresses are a disaster. Power was off most of the time although generator on site. No wifi. Nice views of the lake and food is also good, but prices at $125 for a chalet is ridiculous. Compared to other similar accommodations in Malawi should be around $35 to $50 max!

Dear Evitschka, I am sorry to hear that you did not have the experience you would have liked with us. I do think your wording is a little harsh... Some of your remarks were true at the moment of your visit but have been resolved now. Also our rates have been lowered. The rates for 2017 are USD 110,- for...

It was not a good experience! My first room had no hot water & my second room had no water at all. It was raining & I got soaking wet going to the bathroom as the roof leaked. I got covered in bites, it was not clean.

I love this place! The people are friendly, the food is good, the thatched-roof huts have great views of the lake and the wildlife is fun! If you're looking for a resort experience, go next door to Livingstonia. If you want to feel like you're in Malawi, wander down to the beach where the villagers are playing futbol, visit the...

The Safari Lodge is in a nice setting although it is a long walk from the town of Senga Bay so if you want to do much more than sit by the pool or beach you may be a bit disappointed. The views from the chalets are spectacular, the gardens nice and the pool small. We thought it was a...

Dear guest, Thank you very much for your nice comments and critical remarks. Good to hear that our staff was very helpful and that you had a nice room. We are working very hard on most of the niggles. We have changed internet providers several times the last few years. A week ago we changed to Airtel (the one that...

This place is beautifully located, but shows signs of poor maintenance. The toilets were run down and filled with bugs, the pool was a bit green and the general appearance was shabby. We were charged MKW1000 each to enter, then another MKW1000 to swim and another MKW1000 to borrow a kayak, and we purchased lunch. We felt that the accommodation...

Dear kateloveday, I am happy that you liked our location so much. As to the swimming pool. It was completely repainted only last week. And filled with water again just a few days ago. Due to the power shortages (that you must know about) we have not been able to pump enough to make the water a 100% clear. This...

We really enjoyed our stay at Safari Beach Lodge. Nice staff, good breakfast, and the rooms are convenient and clean. The food was lovely and so are the views. The monkeys can be a bit cheeky, but the staff is around to help out.

Nice lodge with odd little campsite out the back. Electricity available and ablutions are basic but functional. Full use of the pool and internet is available for free. It was a little more expensive than others, however it is quiet and located at the good beach.
