Hotel reception staff are perfunctory. I dislike the room layout. It does not maximise space. No hand soap provided in our room ... very disappointing as it is something so basic that any hotel guest would expect it to be available inside the toilet. The furnishings inside the room are dated... wall paper is peeling off. Paid parking outside the hotel. Need to use street parking app.
Unlikely to return to The Leverage if we visit Skudai again.

Good clean hotel. Worth the money. Room has amenities like toothbrush, laundry bag, bottled water, safe, shampoo and body shower gel.
Food easily available as There is a Mamak shop nearby.
Quite centrally located. Near to paradigm mall and about 20 mins from legoland and jb city center.

The hotel is located out of the way but still near if you have a car or by taxi. You may have a big problem finding food, as there very limited f&b around. Parking is free and there a, guard on duty at night. The room is great, clean, aircon is great. The noise from nearby pub and disco is terrible. It will disturb your zzzzzz. Overall is still a good hotel for the price.

Rooms where decent and clean, took the famiy room and there was enough space for 4. Toilet couldn't lock cause it's just two sliding doors.
Wish they had a fridge, there seems to be a space for it (Refer to my photos), but its not there anymore.
As my room was one with the lights, we had this funny red glow coming from the window (refer to photos), if you need total darkness, please request a window without the decoration lights outside, or get a room with no windows.
overall its a decent hotel, i would return to it in the future.

not a bad hotel but nigh very noisy due to the pub nearby , need drive if need go to town and nearby just have one restaurant (mamak). if go to town need drive at least 25 mins . Hotel clean and parking limited.

This was an one month old hotel when we check-in on July. We booked few rooms, it comes with 2x Double beds which is very spacious for family. The bed is very comfortable, just a reminder the bathroom sliding doors are not able to lock. Opposite the hotel got a 24hrs restaurant serving all kind of Malaysia local food. Hotel parking available at the nearby / surrounding the hotel (FOC). The hotel location was nearby to Skudai highway allows you to access North South highway or Johor Bahru town. Less than 1km from the hotel got a Sutera Shopping Mall (AEON Big as well) & many restaurants / food stalls are surrounded there.

This is a new hotel in Skudai area. We stayed for one night at room 304. Everything was perfect - the room and the bathroom were very clean and equipped with amenities i.e. kettle, iron and iron board and free wifi. I like the sliding doors of the toilet and the rain shower head.
You can also park freely around the hotel's area. Check in and check out were a breeze and the reception lady was smiling despite attending numerous customers at the counter.
Overall, I don't mind staying here again. Also, the hotel is very close to the soon-to-be completed Paradigm Mall JB so patrons can have access to various options of eateries and shops in the future.

Got into this hotel because recommended by relatives who live nearby. This hotel was on the promotional period. Only rm 98 all types of room. Got 2 king size beds room for only rm 98. What a deal. Hotel only provide rooms only. No restaurant or cafe inside the hotel. But got a lot of restaurant. Cheap n nice hotel

Simple boutique hotel with clean and comfortable room. Firm bed. Excellent service.
In Dec2017, guests provided with Nasi Lemak breakfast.
5-min drive from Paradigm Mall - Skudai.

Indian male reception staff who served us was not friendly. Room was very clean! For a room at a cheap rate, it’s very worth it. Bedsheets, toilet, shower room were clean. Shampoo & bath gel provided but no toothbrushes. However, there were disposable bedroom slippers, tea & coffee, bottled water. Towels were clean too! Compared to many budget hotels that we stayed with almost the same price, Leverage is awesome! Had to pay for breakfast MYR5 which was cheap - fried rice, fried mee, samosa, Nuggets, bread with Kaya, butter, jam, cereal and milk, coffee, tea, orange cordial drink. However, ONE MINUS point which was such a waste. The room had VERY VERY STRONG CIGARETTE SMELL! I had allergic rhinitis and I was sneezing and tearing throughout. It was quite unpleasant for me. I would hv given 5 stars if the room did not have the smoke smell. It was really quite unbearable. Room 214. Hopefully if we have the chance to go back, we can get a non-smoking room. This might be the main reason I might not return. Otherwise, cleanliness is awesome! Hopefully the hotel will look into the smoke smell. Thank you! Breakfast staff were nice & smiley. Lady reception staff was nice.
