Cleanliness and details checked for room amenities are need to improved by the staffs and management as we are booked 2 rooms and there is no bath soap, even in 1 of our rooms are no bath towel.
Drunkards in other rooms making noise the whole night...till past 3am. Foreign worker at reception could do nothing but apologise. No sleep although beddings were clean.
Busy but shady area although walking distance to CIQ. Never go back!
Staff were reasonably friendly.
The elevator was dodgy as it had wood planeling inside of it.
Reception area was not clean. Had cardboard on floor; I think there was renovations going on at the time.
The room was big which was a plus for us; however as soon as we walked in we noticed alot of flaws. The walls were dirty, electrical wires hanging out of walls (not connected to anything), no fridge, no light switch near bed and cigarette burns in doona cover. Not only our room was unclean I felt that the whole hotel was quite unclean; walls etc. To me it looked like the hotel needs to be refurbished.
We thought we would pay a little more for location however we were highly disappointed when we walked into our room.
Wifi was week and did not work at times.
Staff did not clean rooms unless we asked.
Very noisy at night time; fireworks, loud music and loud bangs up until 3am. We all hardly got any sleep during our stay.
Advice to hotel managers: paint the walls in the rooms and hallways and it will be a gorgeous hotel.
I would not recommend this hotel to family and friends.
Location : This hotel is centrally located in the heart of JB. It is located within 3 to 5 minutes walking distance to City Square, JBCC and the night bazaar. We stayed for a night there because we need to go to Singapore the next morning. So it serves the purpose well as the JB custom is just 7 mins away. The area is a bit dirty (maybe due to lots of cheap eateries around).
First Impression : The hotel is a bit outdated. I think they should renovate the outlook for a bit.
Reception : The reception area is very small and dusty. There is no common area whatsoever for us travelers put our heavy luggage while we are waiting for the check in process. The receptionist is also a bit boring looking, and he serves me with a very flat tone. There is no warmth or even a smile in his face.
Facility : The elevator is super slow and small. It took ages to go up and down. And also it is very hard to fit, say, 5 people.
Room : Spacious and nice. The room is surprisingly clean and tidy. The bathroom is massive and the hot water is working really well. The view is fantastic (Level 3) and the AC is cold.
Breakfast : None, but you can walk around to eat at the many eateries around the area for sure.
Sleep Quality : 3 out of 5. I can hear all the chants and street concert from the night bazaar in JB to my room till 2am.
Recommendations : Okay ish. Could do with more cleanliness.
Satisfaction : For the price that I paid, I am satisfied with everything. One night stay is good enough for me.
Not friendly staff.
Very fast elevator door closed.
No emergency button in elevator.
We can't get extra key...
Door lock keep on noisy...
The worst thing is that their pictures online were very very different from the actual place.
