1. Stained walls 2. Dirty sink 3. Room was too small 4. Staffs weren't friendly. There were 4 staffs when I checked in none of the welcomed us to the Hotel. 5. The room was dirty and stained but the audacity that they have to even hand us a paper of "RULES" saying that if they found out that we stained their sheets we will be charged 🤣 LMAO 6. Air Cond was too slow

Soft pillow, comfort bed, nice head shower, nice water bottle , coffee and orange juice at front lift pantry. Use card security. Nearby Tasek Central mall. Walking distance to Tun Aminah Hospital. Plenty coffee shops around.

I joined my family for the weekend. This round I had booked a separate room from my family. I had made a comparison before I clicked "standard single". As I had booked "single single" for my brother. I needed a bigger single room as I had more luggage as I had come to JB a few days ahead. I checked with the counter staff after I checked in. She told me that was standard single. I think she needs to know her room size before she replied to a guest. I paid slightly higher price to a room that was similar to my brother's. I could not even open the bathroom door properly to stand in and come out. 1. Room size was not "honest" as stated in the website 2. Water pressure for standing shower was lower that a bidet spray 3. Missing hangers (1 out of 2) 4. Wall beside the bed was full of dust 5. Air con was noisy and not cold 6. Exhaust fan in the bathroom was super noisy 7. TV remote was not working 8. TV screen was out after a few pressing 9. Sound proof was back when you could heard inconsiderate guests talking loudly at 1.30am 10. Pillowcases and pillows were stained Upon check-out, the staff started conversing with me in Malay. I looked at her. As a service provider, I think using international language will be much more appropriate. And I left my bath towel in my family's room, as I could not bring myself to use the bathroom for the second time in my room. The staff asked impolitely where was the one piece of bath towel. I said it was left in XXX room. She had her colleague on the floor to ask, but she did not acknowledge its whereabout after that. Overall, it was a lousy stay! Given that my family and I have been a regular guests before the lock-down period. Totally disappointed!

Stayed at square hotel for 3 nights during business trip. Since it was a solo trip, at first I've booked the mini single room. However upon check in, found the room to be EXTREMELY SMALL. Its so small that the entire room is just the size of the single bed and the bathroom door will be on your right just one foot away. I found it to be very claustrophobic. Anyway, it'd been named "Mini" for a reason and it was the first time for me to have known it earlier. So I requested for a room change. Paid the extra money and the kind receptionist upgraded my stay to deluxe queen without much fuss. It was all good and happy after that. As for the cleanliness, the bathroom wall were kinda stained. Hence cleanliness could be improved. The hotel also does not provide parking for the guest, which I believe they ideally should. So be prepared to get yourselves the parking coupons or you can also download the MBJB parking app. Hotel provides many comfortable pillows and high speed WiFi, thumbs-up for that! Many restaurants walking distance.. in fact there's a mall just across the hotel entrance. There's one hyderabad briyani restaurant within 5 min walking distance. They serve some decent briyani and other Indian varieties. Overall, its an okay stay!

Have you ever watched The Shining? If not, you should or experience it first hand at this hotel. We had a fuss free check in and amenities were basic, do note that the walls of the hotel are so thin; you can hear whistling down through the corridor or the toilet flushing from next door. This would have been a zero star rating if that was possible as we had the best Shining experience ever. Long story short, my friend left his wallet downstairs and through the mishandling of staff that gave his wallet back to the person who returned it; money was lost (could have been worst). “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” - the next morning through conversation with the duty manager who spoke little English but continued in Malay (which we kept saying we don’t understand)... as if it was The Exorcist meets The Shining... halfway through the conversation she begins screaming, shouting and crying whilst hitting furniture; I guess it’s the new way of communicating that our hotel is NOT at fault and it’s your prerogative to deal with it (GREAT attitude), we had to deal with another afternoon manager which bore resemblance to Maleficient meets Mary Poppins to educate us that it was out of the kindness of their staff to return his wallet and how it was gracious for the other guest to return it. In essence, the best choice is to save yourself and your kin and choose someplace else... unless it’s your dream to be part of the greatest production of Hell.

Terrible issues with staff. My wallet was handed in by another guest who found it near reception they counted the money. HE returned later and asked for it back. The front desk person gave it to him knowing it was my wallet and he took it to his room and money was taken. Front desk did nothing to help, played the victim and did not take any responsibility even though they were dumb enough to give it to another person. They became very abusive and threatened us.If you're a tourist do not go near this place. Its a den of dishonesty and extremely bad hotel procedures. If they can do this what do you think they are doing in your room with your things when you're gone. We had to cancel all our cards. They will always side with the local and Scold you in bahasa and Chinese but never English. Absolutely abhorrent. There's plenty of mid tier hotels around without all the drama. Cameras everywhere but no one is to blame.....dodgy dodgy dodgy.

I happened to stay facing the road, there were people shouting at the pub next to the hotel since 11pm to about 2am, the sound proofing was bad. At about morning 7-8am, there was these dance group exercising placing the loudest music possible. When people knocking and opening of door next door, it can hear clearly. Other than that, i wish there was a shower curtain or screen to separate the bathing area and toilet bowl, and a shelve to place the shower gel. The cleanliness is satisfactory, the internet speed is not the fastest but with a little patience , it will get there.
