Why would you complain ? - fast and genuinely friendly Check In, our preferences were honoured, an Upgrade to an executive Room, a clean and fresh room, a great breakfast, walking distance to shops, helpful concierge assistance for a taxi back to Singapore. This is a busy hotel, but the staff were great and unflustered. well done team !

This hotel is old yet it has its charms. 1) Journey from SG to Johor The journey from SG to this part of Johor is quite straight forward. We travelled via the Woodlands Checkpoint. Once we past the Malaysian Customs where our passports were stamped and tolls paid via 'TouchNGo' card, the drive was simple to follow via GPS. 2)...

Just what the title says, it was truly a great experience for us. The staff at the reception was polite and helpful. As we arrived earlier, we ask if we could checked-in first and she was very obliging. The minute we checked into the room, we ordered room service. The one that took our order was also friendly, service was...

Totally pissed off with the way this lady receptionist laughing whilst attending to my complaint as if I made up the story about the aircond in my room was broken. Truth prevailed when the maintenance gut came in later to fix it. That lady receptionist brings disgrace to the hotel!!

Walking distance to City Square mall (through a sloping road outside the hotel lobby), some local shops and restaurants. Nothing much to see apart from these. As for the hotel itself, the over-all atmosphere is old and dark. The rooms and bathrooms can be updated, but are clean and comfortable. Daily breakfast buffet was okay, reasonable selection, and area a...

It started with the temperature of the aircon. At first it just seemed like it would take a longer than than usual. So I waited. And waited. But no. It definitely isn't at 16 degrees as displayed on the knob. Annoyed with the heat, I proceeded to place my drinks in the refrigerator. The moment the door closed, it started...

Great location as it is located among malls. Food is easy to find. Rooms facilities needs to be refurbish as things are getting outdated. Hotel is strict on the check-in timing. Toilet is big but should have more ventilation.

Went to johor for a short stay with my family. Nice hotel with very efficient counter staff. All my requests during my booking were met. The hotel is near City Square so we couLD walk there for our meals & shopping. Only minus is that the bathroom seems very rundown.

If your favorite haunt in JB is the shopping malls along Jln Wong Ah Fook like Komtar JBCC, Kotaraya and City Square, this is the hotel with the best location for you because it's walking distance to both malls. Despite its old and somewhat tired looking rooms, the low price (avg SGD$50-70 per night) for the stay makes up for...
