Formerly intercontinental. So old building refurbished. Room 2017 from 29 sep 2023. Full capacity and only 3 service lift. At least better than KSL and paragon. Again hotel asked for 2nd time tourist tax even after paying via trip.com. Have to find the tourism tax receipt given by trip.com and proof it to them. But even after showing them the tourist tax receipt by trip.com, still have to proof it is Malaysia tourism tax that trip.com collected. It happened a few times. Seem malaysia hotels do not recognise online booking tourism tax collection, therefore they want to collect it a 2nd time

Checked in 26th Sept into Room 2504 Fridge was empty of beverages one would normally expect in any 4 star hotel Pub/Bar in lobby closed so had to go out to get a beer Room did not appear to have coffee or tea provided but found out later it was in a closed drawer ( need more visibility ! ) Before checking out of this room the next day, I ran out of toilet paper.....toilet roll was insufficient The next morning, I asked to be moved to a room with a better view and was accommodated by yr well spoken front desk customer service person, Lynda Wilson. Checked into Rm 2505 and left for business meetings. Upon return in the afternoon had to have a nap from busy day but the aircon unit was very noisy...couldn't sleep....called reception twice but no one came and on 3rd attempt no one answer so trotted down to reception and was moved to Rm 2053. Had 2 knocks on my door from house keeping, returned a shirt and a power charger I had left in Rm 2504 ( very happy) On both days had difficulty activation lift from G floor to 25th floor....apparently the card reader in lift must have card square onto the reader plate otherwise it won't work but the illustration in the lift did not indicate this The only pleasant part of this 3 days 2 nights experience was interacting with yr front desk receptionist, Lynda Wilson....excellent people skills ! You need more of this lady TROVE was not a 4 star experience

To start off, i felt welcomed and greeted by the staff. My check-in process went smoothly. I got the King Deluxe room and the room was clean. Bedsheets and towels were clean as well. The location of the hotel couldn’t get any better as it was ideally located near cafes and restaurants. Would definitely head back there!

Check in process is very smooth and fast. The location is strategic and nearby got some food stalls and shops. The deluxe room with king bed is huge and spacious. However, the sink got clogged and slow to drain off. The swimming pool is a bit small. Gym also with limited equipment. Breakfast is okay, I would like to rate it 6/10.

4star hotel but services 1star. All the staff showed sour faces. Front desk refused to check me in even though its 4.30pm and he's loitering at his desk. Room without any towels, when called for towels was given the rudest respond by housekeeping. Instead of kettle provided with a mini water dispenser but do NOT drink from it. Water heavy stale and chemical smell. For the price we paid for the room but no hairdryer!!! VERY DISAPPOINTING STAY

Room was not ready when we booked in. had to wait....till ard 4.30pm or so. Requested for late check out from front office since we had to wait with restless kids (and because we heard other waiting customers requested as such to).Front desk staff say yes able to late check out becoz of their delayed checkin. also call the front desk staff the next morning to confirm on the late check out. was told can check out at 3pm. But ard 1plus..staffs knock at the door..asking when are we checking out and if we have paid for late check out fee. Hotel staffs should at least check from their side first before knocking on one door, asking us when we are leaving. Not professional. Request baby cot at front desk. He noted on it and told us he will ask housekeeping to send us the baby cot to the room. Not sure if he really look upon it, we called housekeeping when we enter our room. staff told that she will ask someone to bring the cot to our room. waited for 2 hours for the cot. Call again...and end up was told NO MORE cot. so wasted the 2hrs of waiting. Mind you the nmbrs u call....it will take very long for someone to pick up be it..operator,housekeeping and front desk. they should have called us to inform that there is NO bed cot in the first place and not make us wait that long. 2 of the lights in our room didnt work out but its fine coz we were only there for a night. the bidet spray had to be closed when unused, as it was leaking. basically...we will only come for a 1night short stay not more than that.
