This hotel building is not that tall but still got lift. Rooms are nice and if yours is facing towards the park take it, but mind it that could be liiiittle noisy at night. The noise comes from cars and vehicles. Staffs are very helpful. It does not have a storage room for guests - I guess; so do not plan to store anything like a suitcase for a night or two here and come back to pick it up. But if you don't mind staying your things at reception until you come back, should be alright. I did that :) :) Good wifi, breakfast is not good though and I'm sure you don't wanna see a man outside of the hotel usually seems with a kitten and acts like a caretaker of the hotel who always carry an unhappy looking face and does not speak at all with none :) :)
We actually had a great time in this budget hotel. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We travelled with 2 kids, ages 6 and 3 and the beds were really great for a family of 4. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always gave sweets to our kids. The location is also great as there are a lot of food stores. At night, different food stalls are put up on the streets and you would be able to eat cheat but very delicious and satisfying Malaysian food. Would definitely come back in this hotel.
The room is spacious enough for a couple with two toddlers. We took the 2x single bed(queen). The staff is friendly and helpful. Convenient too as it is near to Thomas Town, Hello Kitty and Legoland. The wall paper need a change but overall it was still clean and comfy. Dont mind staying in this place again.
For the price we paid, I felt cheated as you can easily get better hotels for less. They should call it Budget hotel or Guesthouse. 1)The furnishings in the room were cheap not not in very good condition. The window could not be closed properly. The shower head holder was half broken. The floor was covered in this cheap paraquet plastic. 2)They had a fancy locking system on the door of the room - one which you scan the card instead of inserting it - impressive sounding. But everytime you close the door you have to slam it really hard - otherwise its starts beeping. Imagine if the place was full and everybody was slamming their doors at all hours! Ridiculous! 3) They provided breakfast next door at the cafe but it was nothing to shout about. I had the fried noodle and my partner had the nasi lemak. Yes it was cheap but I gave up eating it after 2 bites. They didn't even bother to heat the noodles up! With so many hotels available around the area, best to give this place a miss. We only stayed there because of work in the area and it was only for a night.…
I am a local here in Johor and due to renovation work I need to stay in the hotel nearby my house for a couple of days. I found V3 hotel is newer compare to the other hotels in this area. You know, newer means everything is brand new, which makes me feel really good ;) Besides, you can get RM20 room discount right after sign up to be their member, and the process is damn easy and fast, such the basic info will do. The staff was nice, I left something in the room during check out, and I was surprise to receive their call for that. Not bad after all.
