Room was quite large, had my own double room and the shower was decent. Little bit far too walk from bus stop if you have lots of dive gear but they were friendly enough to let us drink our own booze in the lobby bar and play games until late. Breakfast very poor though, toast, baked beans and eggs..

Branded as 3 stars but the reality was probably less. Quite old hotel with less attractive interior and dim. The aircond sound was unacceptably loud and annoying. I cannot sleep well. But the most disappointing part was breakfast. I can cook it better. So better take your breakfast somewhere else.

I chose the havanita after reading the reviews...I must agree that it's fairly good for less fussy guests...location is good next to main road opposite a Pertonas gas station...room is spacious with nice wooden floor panel....the best was having ceiling fan that is good ...along with Aircon of course...we planned an early drive to Terengganu and breakfast wasn't ready at...

We had missed the last ferry to Tioman Island and wandered the streets of Mersing in need of a room for the night. A lot of the cheaper hotels that we tried were booked out so we ended up at Hotel Havanita, expecting to be spoiled for the night. As previous reviews have mentioned, at 195MYR this is amongst the...

Maybe because of we are here on no-peak season. The mee goreng ive ordered have no veggies at all. No onion. Only sauce. Bad...

Was here for a cycling trip with some friends and stayed a night here. Rooms cost 198RM for a night and it's a huge cozy room. However water mixer in my room is not working properly when bathing and it keeps alternating between extreme hot and freezing cold. Not a nice way to relax. Next, as we need to ride...

Probably one of the better hotels in town. Clean and spacious! But decor and furniture probably needs a revamp. On the bright side: Well, they have Fox channels for all your sports need! Free bottled water. Their prices can be a bit more competitive - on the high side for this area.

Have stayed here before. However in 2014 b4 gst net price was rm165 not gone up by rm195 & room provided this time was smaller. Hotel is clean & conveniently located nearby town. Breakfast was normal nothing fancy. Reception & staff are always courteous & efficient. One of the better hotels in mersing.
