what to expect from a roadside motel, everything in this “hotel” is outdated as it was built in the mid-90s, the rooms were sleepy-able but the only problem was the bathroom, it look like i’m stuck in one of those “backrooms”, pls do search it up as it is quite interesting, and yeah everything looks so cheap and 90s

I was stay in Hotel Seri Malaysia Mersing for one night (3 June 2022) with my Family. We drove from Kuala Lumpur around 6:30pm and arrived in Mersing 1:00am. Checked in into Hotel Seri Malaysia (Booked) immediately. When I step into the room given, there are bad smell in the room and the ceiling and the wall are dirty. Mattress and Pillow cases are dirty and smelly. Toilet not well maintained, dirty too..... Conclusion is I WILL NOT CHOOSE TO STAY ANY HOTEL SERI MALAYSIA IN MALAYSIA IN FUTURE !!

I’ve been here last week. Checked in for 1 night and I was amazed with variety of food in buffet. Everything was superb delicious except the unfortunate event that shouldn’t happened and broke my dinner moment. I have to keep checking on grill section just to get a piece of ayam percik. After 3rd attempted but the chicken still not even on griller. Never mind then, there is a few balance that already grilled and I asked the staff to reheat it. 4th time I went again to the grill section but they still do nothing!! What a nonsense and damn terrible service!! For me, that’s it. I felt like a BEGGAR to keep asking for it all over again. It’s horrible! My friend calmed me down and we still wait for it but not for me anymore. But as per what my friend got was something unworthy to wait for and such a terrible chicken. They served the chicken with not a clean bowl and too much black pepper sauce became percik chicken in gravy. What a frustrated result 👎🏾 with a slow water pressure in room.

We stayed one night before our trip to Tioman. We’ve been to other Sri Malaysia Hotel before so we kind of know what to expect. Do note that this hotel is not for a fussy traveler. Old hotel but the room is spacious. Stayed in family room and the rates comes with free breakfast. Varieties from western to malaysian cuisine. Staff was very kind to allow us to check in at 11am. We got a room with pool view and it’s also facing the sea. Swimming pool, cafe and sorrounding areas clean though might use some refurbishment. For the price we pay, I think this hotel is a good bargain. Location wise, very near to almost everything especially Mersing Jetty. There’s plenty of Malay hawkers next to the hotel if you’re looking for options.

We chose to stay here because of the location. It was a one night stay. They have ample parking space, and good view of the sea. The staffs were nice, friendly and helpful. They provide breakfast. Nothing fancy but enough. The aircond and the water heater works, which was a huge relief. If you are looking for a luxurious and a cozy stay, this is definitely NOT for you. Enough said.

All the reviews on line half to be fake, room was filthy, stained or dirty pillow cases, peoples hair not ours, beds were uncomfortable and blankets are from 1970. No Wi-Fi in the room only in lobby and tv barely worked not to mention the dust and dirt behind the tv and on the lamp shades. You could see peoples foot prints on the floor and the towels were also discolored.

I usually DO NOT gv any hotel any remarks like this but it has caused phobia in me! Drove 8 hours to this place and I almost fainted when I opened the door of this room which I stayed! Musky!, smelly, the carpets were disgusting and wet, dusty! The towel they give was used! So smelly! The smell of poop! Please close down this hotel as it didn’t bring even 1% of comfort! It’s not about the money but please its just unexplainable! I saw some budget hotels nearby with good pics and review but wanted to support this hotel but I’m really traumatised! The only one good thing is the front desk lady was nice and pity her she was working all day alone! But she was really polite and nice! But not the hotel. Couldn’t sleep the whole night and woke up earlier and ran to my next destination. I had my whole body itching after lying on the bed! Please do something about this hotel. To be honest my students hostel before this was way more better than the rooms here. If you think this is exaggerating, please come and experience your self. Sorry but it’s really bad and dirty. PleAse improve! Probably it’s acceptable to the locals but I would never recommend it to anyone. And this is not my first time have stayed before in other locations with seri malaysia but seems like everywhere is the same. Not sure what’s hindering but I hope you will really refurbish!

This a typical Sri Malaysia budget hotel. But due to the MCO closure, this hotel, may have had some wear and tear of disuse, and also poor maintenance. The rooms smell of mold as you enter. The sleep was not so comfortable as most of my party suffered from mild allergy most likely to the mold. The outside corridor had a leak from suffered as evident in one of my photos. The hotel faces the beach which is easily accessible for a nice stroll. There is a small pool and recreational area in the middle of the hotel. Apart for the mold issue, which was very significant to us, the hotel is not too bad.

After staying more then 20 nites in this past few month i decided to give a review...i don't want to write bad review because for me it is not Hilton and i believe people staying here not paying Hilton rates as well..the rates is cheap..so forget the Hilton expectation ( you pay peanut you got monkey lah ) My experience - Very2 friendly front office personal and fast check in. - Clean room ( quite spacious due to the room rates ) . - Housekeeping girls are very helpful also to attend our needs. - Good hotel surrounding and nice landscaping - everyday i saw hard working Gardener do his work - My kids love the Swimming Pool - clean - and i saw them put it new Umbrella, good for them. - Only twice having breakfast BUT the best Nasi Lemak i ever have / misses also tell the same. - Hawker stall only next door, it's convenient. CON - WIFI...they need stronger wifi signal....no wifi in the room....no wifi at the pool area...even in lobby wifi consider non existence

Strange mega cheap, Psycho type of hotel. Amazingly badly cleaned, the staff were 75% nonchalant and 25% ok. Restaurant was also an experience worth missing, awful food awful service. But if the upside it was brutally cheap and well within our begger's budget. I ll stay somewhere else next time, probably sleep in the park. Could write reams about the fascinating farcical things that happened during our stay. I think everyone should experience staying at a genuine - 5 black hole ranked hotel.
