This is the best vacation i ever been after the MCO. It was adhoc decision but i am glad i met this trip to Alang Rawa. It has been a dream to visit Rawa Island and i am grateful i took this opportunity to be here. We stay in the one of the cottage next to the beach. it's private and small resort but it less crowded and we all can have a privacy and me time in this island. the view from the room is magnificent but most of the time we are at the beach, swimming. food was generous. and we would love to come back here, maybe 3 nights would be better than2 nights. i really love swimming in it's turquoise and clear water. just have to be careful with the current and the coral. The sun was shining brightly when we were there. so choose the right month to go.
We had one of the best times here. Not only is the beach amazing.. the hotel's staff are just as amazing. Best food, huts to live in... everything. Only drawback was.. no fresh water to bath with 🤣.. Tips : advisable to bring your own h20! And cash... they dont accept credit cards My compliments to all staff for being the nicest n kindest people 💕
We had a great time at Rawa during CNY! Beautiful island, great food, accommodation basic but everything you would need. Would definitely recommended for a group of friends, would avoid as families. Take cash as there is no card machine or ATM.
Firstly Rawa island is absolutely beautiful, so if you are wondering whether to go to Rawa or not... GO, however stay at Rawa Island Resort instead. Alangs was basic to say the least. We were prepared for no fresh water and no aircon which actually was not a problem but it was more the lack of "resort" that I felt was more the issue. There was nowhere to sit comfortably on the beautiful beach apart from on a beach towel under the blazing sun unlike next door that had lovely beanbags and sun loungers in the shade. The accommodation is basic, we were a group of 4 and 1 was on a camp bed, It was expensive for a camp bed. Food on the other hand was amazing, can not complain here. I would go back but i'd go to the other resort instead, the rooms looked beautiful and they have fresh water and also water provided for guests rather than plastic bottles which you need to buy.…
My girlfriend and I spent two nights in this lovely little beach resort. Our first impression coming in from the boat was paradise. The sea was clean and clear, the sand almost white. We had a beachfront room that literally opened up onto the beach so every morning opening up our door was blissful. The room was simple but clean and we didn’t spend much time in there at all so was more functional than anything. No AC so can get warm! The food was plentiful, variable and delicious. We didn’t have a bad meal. Drinks were treasonable priced. The staff were really accommodating, always on hand for anything we needed and went above and beyond for our return journey times. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!
