I booked this place for a night before our trip to Tioman. They could have done a lot better in maintaining the place. I'm not sure if we are the few unlucky ones or the whole building were affected, but our ceiling was heavily stained and looks mouldy. The toilet tiles would look better if proper scrubbing were done. Limited internet coverage in the area, and no wifi in the room.

We chose to stay at the hotel because it was next to Tg Leman jetty to Sibu Island & took 6 hours drive from KL. The room was comfy but needs upgrading with views of the beach. The swimming pool was huge but it was open to public use and the water needed care. The jacuzzi was great. No room service or a la carte menu so we had to go elsewhere to have dinner however the breakfast was delicious. The beach was private and had ATV facilities but the beach was not safe for swimming but our daughter loves to play with the sand and enjoy the beach and swimming pool.

The last time I went to Felda Residence, it was 7 years ago. I remember sitting in the lobby enjoying the ocean breeze. I had fond memories even though we had an incident of a baby snake being in our room. I remember admiring the clean pool, and swimming in it. Iremember liking the omelette from the egg station at breakfast. So when my husband and I were looking for a venue for our family day event, we decided to go to Felda Residence Tanjung Leman again. Oh, what a disappointment it was. The lobby have so many flies. The water in the pool was green and murky. The restaurant was not open until later in the evening. The corridor leading to our room was smelly. Trays of food by the corridor, inviting lots of flies. We stayed in the suite on the 2nd floor. Room number 214. Our room was ok. But the bathroom was moldy and the balconies, were dirty. Drinking glasses in our room have stain. Bedsheet have stain. Curtains have stain. The only thing that I have no complaint with was the nature aspects of the place. The beach was good, the children had so much fun there, thank goodness because no way no how I'm going to let them swim in that pool. We booked a bbq hut, and it was good and comfortable. They provided us with drinks. The sky was clear that night so we we managed to do some star gazing too. Although, the loudness from the nearby restaurant was rather annoying. Playing some ridiculous song chanting "jongang jongang jongang" not exactly what one want to listen too when trying to enjoy the nature. Come on, people! The sunset by the beach, was breathtakingly perfect. One of us found snake again. Though it was outside, this time. Bigger than the last time. Staff were polite. I have no complaint with them. They all have good attitude. I do hope Felda Residence Tanjung Leman could find it's way back to it's glory days. Already as it is, they have the perfect settings for a wonderful and successful getaway venue. Just need to fix few broken things and maintain them well.…

Worst stay ever! Don't judge by the picture it is not how it looks in the picture.. The pool is open for public so guest have to share the pool & other facilities with public and guest have to pay same amount to use the hotel facilities. In the weekend or PH the pool is pack with outsider (NOT HOTEL GUEST). People are freely picnic around the pool. No privacy at all. Since we have nothing to do at night I ask receptionist wether we can use the ping pong facilities and just saying that we bored at room so we decide to play ping pong, then she arrogantly said " tempat ini untuk orang bersantai je" (this place is for relaxing) I dont want to reply her and with just decide to when for the ping pong instead. After ping pong I called the receptionist to ask for tomorrow breakfast timing. The way she answer the phone like no manners and not friendly at all. I just ask for her name and she reply in Malay (Why you need to know my name?). Im shocked. For me is normal for guest to know the staff name & I ask her is it wrong for me to know who am I speaking to. when I recognise it was as same girl who arrogantly said this place is for relaxing only I ask her opinion what are u suggesting me to do in this hotel. She said (tak faham) and past the phone to other staff without telling me anything. Damm! Super Rude! - Inside the room fridge is broken, the cup are dirty with the dried rice marks and inside kettle is oily. you can imagine how dirty is the floor already. Im not fussy guest. but this is completely spoil you holiday, wasting your money and not worth it.…

Sunrise was perfect with the calm sea. Night time if the sky is clear you prob can see many stars too. Nature unspoilt, with jelly fish and many hermit crab during low tide. Careful not to swim in sea due to numerous jelly fish. You can build sandcastles and walk along the beach. Quiet place to chill for 1-2 nights. Free breakfast is cooked warmly for you. You can choose western or fried rice. For 1 pax is more than sufficient. You can share with your children too. Near a jetty where you can take boat out for fishing for island hopping. Basic rooms if you have children staying with you, they only provide 2 towels. If you need extra need to pay for them. Swimming pool does not look clean so we gave it a miss.

Quite place and good for relaxing. Few room facing beach and need to request earlier. Room facilities complete with large room. Hotel facilities not bad. The swimming was great include the Jacuzzi. Breakfast really bad. Its limited & no much choice not like 4 years back. No more egg counter also fried noodle counter.

We reserve for 4 units ground floor room in Aug'17, cause we got bring disabled person and mentioned early. However the time we check in recently, reception give us all to first floor. In the end, after we argue, then only can get 2 ground floor rooms and 2 first floor room. The environment not in clean, even got cockroaches in the rooms. The furniture and fittings are old and got dirty mark on curtain and bed covers. Meal is not convenience and too expensive if dine in their restaurant. Beach dirty and no activity. So disappointed to the management service and restaurant service cause we face of unfair treatment.

Bad. Room with faulty phone, no fridge until we persistently requested to change room late afternoon then brought a fridge to the room. Room with foul smell and bedsheet with blood stained. Service below par.

Remote & quiet place. Long stretch of beach. Main road is about 25km to 30km from the chalet. KFC at the end of Tanjung Leman pier, no breakfast & closes at about 10pm. If you love to drive and explore, this is a good place to come back to for a good night rest.

This resort is superb. The room is spacious. The check-in process is simple. Booked through Booking.com and get cheaper rate. There is a beach at the back. Food are easily found. The swimming pool is nice. It would be better if they provide free wifi to all rooms! The staffs are all nice too!
