This place is acceptable only when you plan to stay for a day waiting for the ferry , as the location is good because it is near the jetty . It is located beside a mamak restaurant with WiFi so you will never go hungry . There is also a few convenient stores like 7 Eleven and a mart only a few steps away and a Public Bank ATM also a laundry right in front of the hotel . You can also go for a stroll or simply a smoke break at the back of the hotel since it was located by the river . It wasn't the most terrible stay WiFi connection was on and off we couldn't get a proper connection . Receptionist should be more helpful and smile more . Our room was below average to be very honest although it is spacious . Bed sheets , pillow case and blankets were smelly and uncomfortable . The towels were low quality and I meant the ones that does not absorb water and leaves fabric stains on you . There is no water filter and our room wasn't soundproof enough to be able to hear chit chats from people outside , which effected our sleep too . Please improve

Suitable for family or solo travelers searching for a budget hotel for a night stay before heading off to Tioman island and it is located near the river and the jetty. They provide basic necessities i.e. t.v. with some astro channels, towels, water heater in the bathroom but not to expect much as it's like other budget hotels but we're okay with as it's just for a night stay. :) There are restaurants like Marrybrown etc. and shops nearby just walking distance from here. It's like other old towns where not much can be found or seen but just nice for a short stay or sightseeing nearby Mersing.

When arrives...room not ready for the river view side so waited. When enters room,it seems like living in a run away fugitive room..TV not working..aircon is really COLD ,toilet is really big BUT the overall condition seems very run down.Stains on bedsheets...pillows... Windows hinges rusty and beware when opening as the curtains is extremely dusty... The only thing which puzzle us is the aircon switch off by itself during the night while there is no OFF TIMER set on the remote and we are quite sure non of us touches the remote..(the rest is up to u to go think of) choose room level B...C is way too high and if u need to climb up and down.. Get the city view instead of the one facing the river as the boat and the shops below could be quite noisy... avoid room C6 at all cost...if u are an adventure person, den choosing that room will be fine( we can't say anything more what happens in this room if we are not that tired,we will ran out of the room faster possible)

Budget Hotel. Basic but clean with Air Con and TV. Nice double room. Set right in the centre of the Town and about 10 minutes walk to the ferry Port. Although the Hotel looks a little old, it is clean and staff are friendly. There are loads of places to eat, well within walking distance. At 80 Malaysian ringgit per night, for a double room, very reasonable.

Basic facilities. At least the bed sheet is clean. Location is strategic. Very close to the jetty and sufficient parking along the shop lot. There is a 7-11 and few convenient stores. As for the room is very basic.

Spent 1 night here before leaving to Tioman. The room comes with the price you paid for. Basic hotel with basic facilities. Pillows were super hard, room was so heaty as the air conditioning is broken and there is no ceiling fan or whatsoever. Suitable for 1 night stay.

Super hard pillow. Room with very poor sound insulation. Hardly sleep properly at night. Sound of door opening and closing is so loud. Sound of car engine can be heard inside hotel room. Overall is bad. No receptionists when we arrive. Poor service, lousy hotel.

Not worth of money! Dirty moldy rooms and dirty bed with ants in it. Room was supposed to have WiFi, but that wasn't working either (this I could easily forgive if room would have been otherwise ok). Low water pressure in shower, but at least it was working.

pretty much as you would expect for the price. unlike others experience, the beds were ok in our rooms but the towels are certainly in need of replacement. Managed to hunt around and find working internet access through one or two of the access points. all in all, it was ok for a one night stay

When entering the room it all seemed quite nice. It had a private bathroom, tv and towels and everything looked clean...until we got into bed. The sheets were filthy! There were hairs, pubes, dust, crumbs and stains on both beds. We got there around midnight and were leaving to catch the 5am ferry the next morning so luckily didn't spend much time in there. Definitely not worth the 80RM.
