Travel for short trip. nice room and view to stay. however it would be great if able to provide the floor towel to wipe the leg after the bath. Also it would be better if able to clean the toilet drain as there is a water clogged. Although the room is non smoking, but it able to smell the smoking along the walking path. Hope it can manage and control. Overall it ok to stay.

Price was ridiculous, when we book in booking.com it was about triple times compare with normal price. I had impression that hotel should be nice to have that pricing, pictures look nice also (only inside the room). But when we reached the hotel, i felt that i was totally fooled. It should not be called hotel if you see it from outside but it was rated as 2 stars hotel in the booking app. The room itself was not bad, only missing fridge, hair dryer, slippers, kettle, tea... It just never worth the amount of money that i had to pay. And i have to mention, there was no room service at all! I stayed for 2 nights (wondering if anyone would ever stay for more than 1) but they no bother to clean the room, change the bedsheets, replace towels... You can consider it if you only need a fair place to sleep 1 night at Mersing and pay for it less than 50RM. I totally regretted that I had chosen it for my trip.…

Reasonable clean (just don’t look under beds). Quiet. A basic room with bed & bathroom. Ok if you are just looking for somewhere to spend the night on your way to your destination. Kettle & cups, but no fridge. Staff were friendly & helpful. A supermarket & small shops located in same building. However need to drive into town to get anything to eat.

We arrived in Mersing at 2.00am and found this.... hotel, for want of a better word, after a short walk from the bus depot. That is the only positive about this place I can think of, It's close to the bus depot! So! I've stayed in my fair share of crummy Hostel and Hotels but this one makes the others look like the Ritz. The whole place smelled like a mixture of piss, poo and feet which only got worse once we got to the room. Mold on the ceiling and walls in and out of the bathroom, the shower looked like I would come out dirtier if I went near it. Toilet was a depressing sight, as was the look on my girlfriends face when we walked in. Then she found urine all over the sheets! Good times!! In fact road would be cleaner!!

Dirty, dirty, dirty hotel! Instects (cockroaches) on the main stairs, rooms apparently clean, but with toilet really dirty and sheets stained with blood. We checked better and definitely the sheets havane't been changed in a while. DISGUSTING. Only positive note: is right in front of the main bus station.

We spent one night at the D View Hotel in Mersing, because we went to Tioman island the day after. On the positive side, they have Wifi and also aircon that works. Now negative: the room was not clean at all, the bed stank of other peoples sweat and we found lots of hair on it. Although there was supposed to be hot water, we had to have cold showers. And the whole room (not only the bathroom) smelled of urine. So one night is alright, anyone will survive that, but thats it, no more!
