Post COVID-lockdown, we (two adults & 3 year old) needed a peaceful and beautiful getaway - Rawa was everything an more. We stayed for one week. The staff were friendly and helpful, the sand like powder, the sea was trash free and mostly calm, the activities as limited or strenuous as you like. Our child loved it! The water slide, trampoline and snorkelling kept her busy throughout. We were initially wary of the food reviews, but it proved unfounded. The buffet was varied each day - nice selection of fruits, pastas and rice dishes to suit the kids and adults. Top tip - be sure to stay when the BBQ is on - as this was a real highlight. Of course the food isn't as good as a city centre hotel, but you are on an island! The ice-creams you pay for but a very good selection. The only

We spent 3 days 2 nights here, living in the water bungalow. The water bungalow has an amazing view of the sea right from the balcony. There's no TV in the room which was fine, as you have so much to do out there, from chilling at the beach, to the exhilarating ride of the water slide and water sports (kayaking, paddle boarding etc). You can also hike to the top of the island where you can have a view of the sea surrounding the island. There's boardgames, TV and books for you to read at the common area. As for food, the buffet has resume as we saw the previous reviews whereby they only serve ala carte during the mco period. The service from the staffs is good. We requested for housekeeping after the 1st day as the floor was sandy after coming back from the beach, and they had a

We stayed for the 3rd time and was upgraded to beachfront chalet. Unit #38 was the furthest, located next to the seafront chalet. The main difference this time around is that there were no more buffet dining at the restaurant, even for tue Saturday evening BBQ. Everything was serve ala-carte. This is due to restrictions imposed by the government due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Basically you are given a predetermined menu and choose to have everything or only part of it. There is slightly less choices than before and it’ll take some time to get the food, especially during peak lunch and dinner periods. Other activities remain open-the slides, kayaking etc except that for snorkelling you’ll have to bring your own mask and snorkel. Life jackets can still be borrowed from the

We went right after the regulations were relaxed due to coronavirus. Thus, understandably some facilities were not available but in exchange, we got the whole island to ourselves! Service was great, rooms were well-maintained, toilets are clean. Sea and beach were superb!!! Weather was super duper good! However, the food probably needs some upgrading. We were served ala-carte menu for the full board package and its of cos not cheap and my toddler of 4 years old was compulsory made to pay as well, despite it not being a buffet. Servings were of cos huge but the kids meals were either pasta or fish and chips, so my son got bored of it. Adult meals were really a hit and miss, probably their fish and chicken were usually good but their beef and lamb not so. All in all, all of us

Food: It is true the water is crystal clear, sand is soft. But the food definitely need to improve! Breakfast and lunch are so bad! Low quality ham and sausage, overnight bakery and pastries, concentrate fruit juice being serve, in short bad quality of food. There is no dessert in their buffet. In term of hospitality, they even charge us for ice, when we had order more than 3 bottles of wine! We spent more than RM1K in drinks and alcohol! Service: There is one time we overslept and missed dinner, around 9pm, when we asked the kitchen if they serve any ala dinner or maybe instant noodles we can purchase. No! Nothing! Only 2 bags of chips are available, and for SALE. Room: Nothing in the room. No tea and coffee available, no fridge, nothing! Such service! Please consider on
