This resort does not deserve to be called a resort. Everything is poor. From the room itself, broken walls, broken ceilings,a/c not working, very poor amenities, cups and glasses given seems to me they have never washed. Overly priced for a lousy resort.Highly not recommended. Better go to a budget hotel which is new and much more cheaper.

Great location because it is near to Air Papan Beach. Dont expect too much on this resort as this is 2/3 star resort but overall everything is okay. We came with 5 adult and 1 child, the room was so spacious. I love when at least the room has big space to perform prayer. The toilet was clean and smells good. We also had a great time playing on the pool as it was quite big. But sadly, as there were not so many people on the resort due to weekdays, the resort was very dark at night. I was expected maybe there were some lights around the pool.

Bad experience when staying one night at this resort when a group of people or family calebrate their festival with loud sound of music, dancing, shouting, fireworks until early morning at the resort without respect to other visitor. The resort management too soft and no action taken as to limit their celebration.

It was about 5 years ago we discovered this gem. After 5 years, we are disappointed this place has gotten worse. It had expanded but it is no longer as nice. It was better when it was almost like a boutique resort hotel. Now it has lost its charm, poor maintenance, dilapidated rooms, and so many awful disgusting things to review about. We would not be coming here again.

I booked sea view rooms but did not get sea view. The staff informed me that the rooms are facing the sea but was block by another building, so there is actually no sea view for the sea view rooms here. The swimming pool was not properly maintained. A lot of broken tiles on the pool's floor. All of my kids have small cuts on their hands due to sharp edge of the pool slide. No restaurant. Service is not efficient. You have to inform them few times just to clear the trash.

Usually expectations are made by the price one pays. At 320rm per room (Seaview Family Rm), we expected a 4 star resort but got a 1 star experience. 2 good points first. Our room had great views of the lovely Air Papan Beach. It was spacious, taking 5 people comfortably. That's about it. Very run down resort that have seen better days 10 years ago. Even the wooden balcony panels have rotted through and collapsed when we checked in. Rooms were not cleaned properly and had mozzies, biting me thru the nite. Fridge wàs dirty. Paint peeling. Staff were very untrained and were more suited to run a 50rm kampong chalet rather than a 300rm one. They were friendly though but did not seem to know which room worked or didnt. The pool looked cleaned but we didnt try it. But the biggest disappointment must be the complimentary breakfast. Bought straight from some roadside vendor, the Nasi Lemak was obviously the most basic offered. Rice. Half egg. Miserable piece of cucumber. At most, 1.50rm per packet. The kindest thing we could say is its better than camping but at 320rm, we should have camped at the beautiful beach. Such a waste considering its beautiful location. Disappointed and should be taken off the list of hotels offèred by Booking.com. Where can I get a refund? Lol

However, they do not capitalise on it. They have awesome beachfront nearby, nice views, clean rooms. What they need are some upgrade, maintenance, upkeep for garden and swimming pool, welcoming reception area, nice restaurant and customer service training for the staff - I, for sure would come again and recommend it to my friends

When we arrived, the receptionist informed us that there was no hot water and no food places anywhere nearby. We had to hitch a ride with a local, back into Mersing to get food and supplies which is fine, no problem... We knew we were traveling out of season but it would have been useful to know what to expect. The first room we stayed in was on the ground floor facing the pool, the sheet had stains on and the curtains were also covered in stains. The sink was blocked. The pool water was green and we ended up with 4 cats trying to come into the into room constantly which got a bit chaotic. The small shower by the toilet in the bathroom wasn't working properly but a member of staff came and fixed it for us. Later we went for a walk on the beach and when we returned we discovered that the room was full of cockroaches. Ewww! So we asked to move to an upstairs room which was much better but still the small shower by the toilet wasn't working. You don't usually expect to have to do your own plumbing. We moved to an upstairs room which was much cleaner. They did provide a basic breakfast of donuts and a savoury snack and water which was brought to our room and the staff were friendly but overall it was disappointing. Even out of season, it should be maintained better. If they just gave the place some TLC, kept it cleaner and cleaned the pool, put a little bit more effort into the rooms, it would be much nicer. The location is a cat ride out of Mersing. It costs rm30 for a taxi each way. Conclusion: It's fine for a budget family holiday in season though if you don't mind things being a little bit run down. Make sure you take cash as they don't accept credit cards and if traveling off season, bring your own food. We stayed only one night and decided to move on. I wasn't able to get a cash refund so I am hoping I will be refunded via bank transfer.

I hv a meeting at mersing and thought I cld enjoy the sea view so I decided to put a night here. I was really disappointed with the facilities. The bathroom light n heater were not functioning. I ended up using boiled water to take shower. There was no toilet paper provided. And the blanket has no cover like many hotels have. As there was no phone n it was quite a distance from the room to reception counter, I didn't call for helpn put up with it. The fact that it is low season n not many visitors, shouldn't þhe hotel has more time to pay attention to the customer? Not worth the money paud at all.
