This hotel is basically a backpacker hotel that I think is mostly used by people taking one of the boats to the islands, for example so they can arrive in the evening and take a boat the next day, which is what we did. It's pretty basic, but the rooms are clean and the staff is VERY friendly and helpful. 3 stars mainly as it's not meant to be much more than a place to get a night's rest and not much more. Very reasonably priced at about 25 SGD per room.

If you need clean beds, warm baths, wifi and a central location in Mersing, this hotel would meet your basic requirements. Several good restaurants and a good bakery located within the vicinity. Just dont expect much else. The hotel is next to a busy junction and the sounds of the traffic can be heard. But the traffic dies down as the night progresses.

I booked this hotel through Booking.com and for some reason they have disallowed reviews on the site - likely due to their poor facilities and fear of (deserved) bad reviews. The only reason they get two stars instead of one is because we were able to sleep in the beds, as they were passable. However, the shower stank and was so gross we did not use it even after a long travel day - it smelled of mould and fungus. Service is poor, you are left standing in front of reception for many minutes despite being the only people there before anyone acknowledges your presence or helps you out at all. The town of Mersing is also pretty lack lustre and the only reason to go here is to get to Tioman Island, but if you can avoid staying overnight I would do so as Mersing has bad; over priced food and a rubbish filled, dying ocean.

It is a place where you don't want to stay in room longer than necessary. The location is good, the staff is friendly, but the whole place was not well-maintained. I would not recommend it if there are other choices.

About what you would expect for the price, though the location is great. Rooms are a bit dank and can be smelly because they allow smoking, which was the biggest bummer of this place. Staff was nice, basic but clean.

Good place for an overnight stay. Receptionist was very friendly. The room is basic and clean, with a small TV. There are restaurants and coffeeshops within walking distance. We also walked to the bus station, even the hotel offered us to give us a lift. Take note that there is no lift in the hotel. We only traveled with light luggage, so it was not a problem.

We spent here one night. Like many people that are heading to Tioman, due to the timeline of buses and ferry you will for sure have to stop in Mersing. This is a good spot where to have a bit of rest waiting the ferry. It is a really simple place with air conditioner and wifi. They offer a free, early morning ride to the Jetty (this is not really far, easy to get there walking but is a good service, worthy to mention).

Walking distance about 5-10mins to Jetty & Bus station. They do provide Free shuttle to jetty & bus station upon request. Stayed here for 2 nights (14th to 16thSep) for our day island hopping trip in Mersing. Was given Room 18 facing the main road. I requested for low floor knowing there is no elevator in this hotel.Rooms were spotless but spartan. Bed was good! Only comes with 2 pillows. Need to request for more subject to avilablity. With attached hair dryer (looks new) and electric kettle but with no complimentary coffee/tea. No comolimentary bottle water. Need to bring your own toiletries. We arrived at 2am from Singapore and check-in was smooth. Reception were friendly & accomodating. Alot of eating places, one of it is just opposite the hotel where I had my breakfast for both mornings. Not bad. There is 24hrs eating plc too where we we had some bited upon our arrival at 2am after check-in. (Ask the hotel if u're noe sure. Self service laudry is nearby.
