This is a great place to go for a very real rainforest experience delivered by a very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable host and we were really well looked after. Highlights for us were relaxing at the lodge, listening to the sounds of the rainforest, especially the dawn and dusk sounds of insects, frogs and gibbons; morning and evening boat trips on the river; cruising down the river on inner tubes (so cool and relaxing!), discovering insects of all different shapes, sizes and colours; getting a really privileged chance to observe honey being harvested at the tualang tree; having wonderful food prepared for us throughout our stay; and learning so much from Hymeir. He is a wonderful host! We didn't want to leave! Thanks so much to Hymeir and Ami (skilled boatman and

White-handed gibbons, eagles, wild boars, hornbills and, if lucky, elephants, are some of the animals you might get to see. Apart from cameras, binoculars are useful to have. Of course, leech socks
