Detailed Reviews
That was my first thought, the moment i entered my room.
Really great value.
Much better than I expected, almost like a mini Aloft Hotel.
The room was clean, spacious and cosy.
AC, hot shower, hair dryer, pillow, all good and they provide toothbrush, too.
Maybe they can improve on the bed linen/blanket cause I don't think it smells fresh.
Towels good.
I actually need to visit Alor Setar again and booked elsewhere.
No second thought, I cancelled that booking and reserved another stay here.

The location is so strategic. It is actually a hotel within a shopping complex. U can easily plan your meal and only need to go down and buy, no need to go so far for food 😜I had trouble finding the lobby on my first day. Turns out you need to go in then the lobby will be opposite of llaollao.
They mentioned they have shared common space at level 9 but i was unable to access the floor, maybe the card given to you can only access your floor? I not sure, didn’t have time to ask the receptionist
For the room, mine was the superior queen without window, it is clean, cold haha and had all the amenities i need for a 5 days stay. However the room is not sound proof, i can hear ppl next door talk when they want to enter their room, i can hear the construction noise outside. As it was a no window room, i feel quite stuffy, but that is because i prefer the one with window so that i can look outside once in a while. Overall, a great place to stay with variety food resources.

Location is very convenient, near all amenities. Eating shops, DIY , pharmacy, supermarket is within the vicinity. Bed is ok, pillow is too soft may want to consider better quality pillow. Parking is easy n the building basement Price is affordable. Rexommended 👍

I have checked in here for 2 days .There are pros and cons for this hotel management need to note for better growth in future.
Pros:-
i) Strategic location
ii) Ample car park for hotel guest
iii) New Environment and concept
iv) Spacious place
v) Got iron room
vi) Got water dispenser Coway outside the room
Cons:-
i) First day checked in I found that the wrinkled white blanket was done by their housekeepers. I think you need to improve this even though this is budget hotel but how come you provide the wrinkled white blanket to guest ? Plus thin mattress with dusty brown blankets
ii) Smelly bathroom drainage . I suggest their facility team need to alert on this as this caused uncomfortable when I entered the room with the bad smell. Luckily i booked room with window so that I can open it to let this smell gone.
iii) Housekeeper very noisy in the morning when they are doing the housekeeping works next to our room with their hand phone music and laughing to each other.
iv) You can hear the slam door sound from your room.
v) If you checked in more than 1 day , you need to update your wifi password each new day at their reception.

WiFi connection and call numbers are not clearly communicated upon check in, room access cards are not able to scan... have to go up and down to solve these problems.
Need to push the main room door and bathroom door to close it properly. Room is equipped with a TV, small table. Spring mattress is not good to absorb movement from another person. Washroom has basic amenities, strong rain shower but tiles are mouldy.

The rooms were so small and nothing like the pictures. I was disappointed where even mineral water were not provided. Even after we requested, we were told we were not entitled to water. Unbelievable!
Only one set of card keys was provided which was inconvenient when you are travelling as a couple and especially when the room cannot operate without a card key.
Staffs are not flexible and kept saying they are staffs and cannot make decisions. One of my worst experience for a very long time.

There are good and bad, but to me it failed as a budget hotel due to:
1. Dirty. Floor dirty, please wear your shoes during your whole stay. Obviously no sweep or mop by housekeeping, not acceptable especially during covid period. Bedsheet/brown blanket dusty, not sure whether did they change it after guest checkout?
2. Uncomfortable mattress, you can feel the spring, only a thin layer between spring and your back.
Since it failed the 2 most important elements for a budget hotel or inn, I'm not sure the following pros will outweight the cons above.
1. Easy to find parking.
2. Convenient to find food or buy things as there are shops/restaurant downstairs.
To me the price not cheap, I paid RM88 for the room, for the same level motel in alor setar I can easily get at RM50+.
Until it improve the cons, I would not recommend this inn.

Awesome. Everything is in their best state of conditions. Value for your money, spacious room, easy access to CMart Shopping Complex below the hotel and for sure they have a very clean bathroom. Highly recommended

Service from the staff is good. Room is quite spacious as we book the bigger room. Bed is uncomfortable, too hard. Pillow is too soft. Aircon is cold. Cleanliness is ok. Coway water provided. Unfortunately the tap water is as per the picture attached. It is really budget hotel

The rooms are super big and clean except for the door lock which I think the management needs to look for a better quality one. I need to ask the Reception to unlock it 2 times. I overheard that many people face the same problem (Its either cannot enter the lift or cannot open the room door) The staff are friendly and drinking water is very convenient. It near a big supermarket and food should be no problem. Overall, I am satisfied with this new hotel!
