The hotel is very old, refurbishments are required to the exterior and interior of the hotel, especially the wall finishes, the carpet of the hotel should be entirely changed. I stayed at an deluxe room, which should have a bath tub, but the room assigned to me without it and my complaint was not answered. Poor selection for breakfast. The water at the swimming pool looked dirty. I reached the hotel at around 8am, they allowed me to have early check-in. But when i requested to extend my check-out time to 4pm, they wanted to charge me half-day rate. The good point about this hotel is that it is easy to get hawker food behind the hotel at night.

A month after your visit, the Hotel went through a 2 months renovation. New furnitures were added to lobby and the coffee house were renovated and adding to it a more welcoming atmosphere. The front porch of the Hotel were replaced with a transparent roof, allowing more light to enter the compound. Most of the deluxe rooms has bathtubs except for the corner rooms. Perhaps, you may request for room away from the corner of the building if you required a bath tub. The items on the breakfast changes daily, as we have several local fried dishes, fruits, salad, cereals, bread local pastry, eggs, juices and coffee & tea. We are the only 3 star hotel in town with a swimming pool. The pool is cleaned daily especially when many guests utilized it. Occasionally the water may appear cloudy as some guests may have failed to notice the signs that they should shower before entering pool and wear proper swimming attire. Hence, your observation is accurate that the swimming pool looked dirty prior to the daily cleaning.

stayed at this hotel for two nights.1st impression lobby look old and looks like typical chinese hotel.this make me curious regarding their coffee house halal status.but i already ask at the reception counter and they tell me all their kitchen staff is malay.glad to hear that.then i enter the guest lift.lift smell something that i dont know where it comes from and the condition is worrying me.reach at the floor the carpet is smelly, corridors light so dim.feel quite scary.then i enter the room, the tv is quite dusty and what make me laugh is when the receptionist give me the remote control at counter during check in.so funny.not like other hotel.they should place the remote inside the room.even budget hotel can put the remote inside the room.it make me feel we as a guest who stay

Thank you for your observation and comments. Our Hotel is popular for its local cuisine, especially for the local Authentic Malay food. The kitchen and coffee house are Halal certified and you can rest assure that we are in full compliance with the necessary rules. Vast majority of our personnels are Malay including the kitchen staffs. Rest assured that periodic cleaning are being carried out on the carpets, We have since added more air fresheners to several strategic areas to freshen up the property. Additional lightnings were added after the recent renovation to the Hotel and we are changing our old light to LED white lights. This has brighten up the places and corridor, giving guests the necessary lighting to and feeling at home. We prefer to hand out the remote to guests for several reasons. By collecting the remotes from the rooms, were check to ensure batteries life is good, that its is working well, wiped down by house keeping staff and always available when guests checked in the room.

Hotel has spacious room, clean and ideal for small children. My prince and princess enjoyed themselves. Our room has lcd tv and astro. Stayed at the deluxe double room with timber flooring and children can play freely. The room size is 40 % larger, with bathtub compared to surrounding conventional hotel of similar category and price in Alor star. Hotel has a beautiful large pool but no wading pool, so keep an eye on your children they in the water. Surprisingly it has mini bar, coffee teas facilities and toilet with shower gel and shampoo. Wifi signal is fine but they could improve on the variety of breakfast. Similar food served over the 3 days of our stay. Staff are friendly and we will sure to return here again. We enjoyed out stay without paying through our nose.
