Had a pleasant stay here at Lavigo Resort. Close to Chenang and other attractions.
Relaxing, clean, beautiful and peaceful place, provided if the visitors are following the house rules
ie: loud noise, speakers, party drinks, food & beverages at the pool.
We did found a beer bottle cap in the adult pool, meaning there is/are visitors who didn't care about the house rules, who should stay somewhere else.

We stayed 3D2N in a superior triple room. Room & bathroom are clean. Complete with toiletries, towels, kettle, coffee, cups, hairdryer, tv, mini fridge.

In the exterior; swings and pondoks with hammock in each of them. Clean, good-sized pools for adult and kids (with floats and balls for them to play).
Had a chance to meet with its kind and friendly owner and housekeeper. This is so much more than a 2-star resort could offer.

The resort is nice and suitable for travellers in big group. Spacious family room with basic necessities. Just 5 minutes drive to famous pantai chenang. This place has great facilities I.e. swimming pool which opens till 9pm, hammock and cosy leisure area.

My first impression was good as this hotel seems calm, clean and peacefull and they're challet type of room. I like the idea. But! As i entered the room, i'm not happy with the room that was attached to mine as extra room. Yes, we did book 3 king size beds, eventually the 2nd room that placed the last bed got no air-conditioner! Only a fan and..... Air purifier??? Not even air cooler? We're on an island (which is bloody hot), and they gave us fan? There was an air-conditioner in the main room and it was useless! I can't sleep well due to the warmth.... Nope! Burning hot room! Such useless hotel.. And the bathroom, it got flogged! I took shower with my feet in the....well, u know what! Got to wash my feet everytime i took shower! If you're looking to get disapointed, this is the place! Or perhaps some one who love or can stand heat like sauna! Never will i come back here! And thats absolute!

There were 30 of us for the company trip. It's only 5 to 10 mins from the airport. You can take a Grab car. Check in was smooth and the staff was helpful. To get to Pantai Cenang, its better to take a Grab car otherwise you will be walking in the hot sun for 20 to 30 mins. the way is not very lighted as well at night.

The rooms are homey. I stayed in the bungalow with the 'outside' bathtub. The rainfall shower was a real relieve. Water pressure is good. They do provide some toiletries and towels. The aircon in the room is ok, and there was no mosquitoes at night.

It was nice to hang out at the swings under the starry sky at night as this area has not many buildings around it. There is a small swimming pool and they also have a small pantry/kitchenette for general use. There is a convenience store right at the hotel, with a thai/malay food 'mamak' i won't even call it a restaurant cause the food is not up to my standards.

Personally, I won't come back here as it is too 'rough' for my liking, but i do recommend it for a budget short one night basic getaway with the kids with some bbq and swimming activities in the evening.

We arrived late in the evening at the airport (around 11:30pm), but we were kindly picked by one of the hotel staff.

He checked us into our room which was very clean and had a big comfy bed. The restaurant on site is good and offers a nice breakfast which is very cheap. We also made use of the brand new pool facilities as to cool down in the afternoons, which made the stay even better.

The hotel is located around 5 minutes away on a moped from Pentai Cenang, which has all the shopping, eating and things to see that you need! It is also only 25 minutes or so from the excellent Sky Cab.

If you are on a budget but want kind helpful staff, clean rooms and a nice swimming pool - then stay here!

I made my booking via internet , for 6 nights there . I saw the description , nice pool , restaurants around , short walk to the beach ( written by some previous customers ).
The room I got was nice , clean , ok . BUT , I was told that the restaurant close to the reception only opens at 10 in the morning!
The beach , where all the restaurants and activities are , is at least 2 km from the hotel Traveling on my own , without a car , is obviously not convenient at all for me . I didn't want to stay there , so I offered the hotel to pay 1 or 2 nights to compensate them , but they never accepted . I had to pay the full 6 nights . I knew very well that they could do that , but considering my situation , that I explained very well to them , I would have expect that they would accommodate me .
I was not asking for a full refund . I understand that they made that reservation for me . But the place was far from being full , so I didn't make them lose money . So I think offering them to pay 2 nights , without even using the room , was quite reasonable .

So definitely , if you are planing to go to this hotel , make sure you have a car or a scooter , because otherwise , you will be stocked in the middle of nowhere , with few restaurants around , and you won't have breakfast until 10 in the morning !

Stayed here for couple of days. The best part it's just on 5-10min drive from Airport. You walk few steps on road from resort and you can see Airport's runway. Location is a plus here, also environment here is so calm & natural. Resort is decent, rooms are big. Resort occupy a decent area on the backside.
Car/Bike park is easy. Pool is decent. I personally liked the rooms on the back side near the garden/pool area. Nice seating places in the hammock area. When it starts raining, it's worth seating there..

They have decent Indian restaurant just next to resort. Would have great if they have room service also, They asked for 50RM deposite which they did refund easily while checking out. Check in was easy. lady at reception seems cooperative. Resort is pretty close to Cenang area.Just a 5min drive.

This place is the worst place I have ever stayed!
1) even though we had a do not disturb sign on our door. Their cleaners still came into our room and left the door unlocked and OPEN whilst we were gone for the day. All our belongings open to be taken. Management - no apologies and not even shocked by it.
2) People kept throwing parties at night and literally screaming and shouting outside our rooms at 11 PM (that’s at night! ) when we went to reception and complained several times and were just told that the other customers had a right to make noise until midnight!!!
3) The pool that they have a photo of on their website and on tripadvisor is not the pool they now have and is a complete lie.
4) It is out of town and on the side of the road. You have to catch a taxi or drive every time you want to go anywhere.

We literally paid money to sleep here so we could be kept awake all night! And have our room left unlocked and unsecured at any time.
In summary I really wouldn’t recommend this place and I would avoid it at all costs.
