Attended 3 days 2 nights Seminar in this hotel. Overall I would say that this is not a comfortable place to stay. The hotel is by the roadside, in the center of Kuah. Room and function room had a strong unpleasant dampness odor. Every room will only be given 1 key card. Need to pay RM20 (deposit) for energy extra key card. The bathroom door handle of my room is broken. Breakfast is barely passable. Last day before checked out, even before 11.00am, the house keeper already entered our room and pulled up all the bedsheets and put it on the ground outside the room. My Mp3 player was wrapped in the bedsheet without my knowing. Luckily I found out at that time and got it back. Huh! House keeping shouldn't be done before traveller checking out! I definitely don't recommend this hotel to all of you. Unless you are looking for a very very basic stay with cheaper price.

The hotel is definitely overpriced for what you get. The room had a smell of damp and the wifi in the room was awful kept dropping off all the time. The location is good with the mall next door that also has a cinema. The food for breakfast was ok but we also had food there one evening and it was nothing short of awful. The one positive was that there was an iron available on each floor which is very handy. There was a nice hot shower but the shower door was hanging off. The sink was falling out of its housing and the rooms could do with a lick of paint.

I'm here at langkawi for short vacation with my family. I studyed at Perlis and my family came a long way from KL to Perlis. At 4.00pm, we buy tickets at Kuala perlis to Langkawi. Things getting messy when we were approch by an old guy (ticket agent or something- local guy) he offered us many kinds of hotel. From motel, standards hotel, homestay and more to say. But we didnt like the hotels and we skipped away.

He offered a friend of his (an car rental agent at langkawi) to rental a car with price rm60/day + deposit (to the old guy) total we spend rm70 for car. He gave us a normal receipt with his friend name and phone number. Before that we tried called that his friend number with HIS phone. (Mine is out of credit😂) and worked.

At 5pm, we on board and ready to begin our journey to langkawi. We arrived at 6pm above. First thing we did is call for car rental. We called several times. And yet we forget to get that old guy number. We called his friend number based on the receipt. And failed. Its 7pm and we assumed that we been tricked by that old guy. (Moral- don't trust people at kuala perlis that offer you things for langkawi trips)

We started to walk around and go to nearby grey-ish ticket counter (behind kfc and kenny rogers) and then we get a car(vios) with rm80/day + rm50 deposit (will get refund by final day with no prob at car) from Moonlightbay. We recommend this company for car rental with great price. The staff was nice and the owner give us discount (bcause my mum told him that we hve been tricked). If u planning on langkawi trips, search MOONLIGHTBAY car rental. (Car, van, motocycles- Faisol @ Dinz. 012-575 2665 / 04-969 5555)

7pm above we arrived at langkasuka hotel. I like the concept hotel+shopping mall. We checked in 3bed room (dont know the room name) with rm181 with breakfast. Its quite weird because if u drive a car, will have 2 choice. One, u can park ur car at in front hotel lobby and walk in to hotel lobby lift or two, u can park ur car at hotel+ mall car park (behind the hotel) and walk to hotel lift (not hotel lobby lift-they have different lift for front n back of the hotel)

The hotel room was clean n tidy. Eventhough they had an old air-con but still working properly and so damn cold till u need to lowered it down a lot. The bathroom had super extra toiletries (bottle shampoo, body wash, hair dryer, comb, toothbrush+toothpaste combo, shower cap, small n big towel) They have cold n hot water for shower. At room, tv with good channel (tv3,tv2 n 1, fox sport, movies and more), iron board n iron, coffee, tea, kettle, mini fridge, laundry bag and prayer mat with kiblat (for muslim). The last awesome things is ur own personal wifi every rooms. (The router is on ur sidebed table).

Next morning for breakfast was ok. Eventhough quite messy with the staff refilling the empty food trays, others are ok. The taste of food was ok too. Standard for normal 3 star hotel foods.

Stayed there for 4days 3 nights. Rooms provided were nice and clean.we Left the room in quiet messy state and returned back to our room with everything clean up. Thanks to the cleaning staff. Sorry for the inconveniece we cause. There is mall exactly beside building where we bought our toiletries and fruits and chocolates! They have a cinema too but the showtime only started after 12pm. But thats okay since our activities were quite hectic during the day and we manage to watch ghost busters during the night. For foreigners who interested to try out tradisional malaysian food in Langkawi, you can seach on Nasi Dagang Pak Malau. You wont regret! Back to the story, this hotel is situated so near to the jetty and just beside the main road. Everything is within reach. Overall, nice budget-friendly hotel i must say. Thank you for all the staffs there :)

This hotel is located at Kuah. However, nothing much around that area, except for the duty free shops under the hotel. Not much choices for foods & drinks around the hotel area. Personally, i would suggest travellers to stay at Cenang Beach area as it is more happening and convenience.

The hotel lobby:
-Staffs are friendly.
-The lobby & inside of the lift compound have a very strong smell. Most probably because the open space cafe is just in front of the lobby.

The room condition:
-Spacious room.
-The pillow is too soft and the bed is too hard.
- Something like fresh blood stain found on the bedsheets.
-Bathroom cleanliness is acceptable.
-Basic amenities such as comb, tooth paste, tooth brush, body & hair shampoo are available. Hair dryer is available upon request.

Foods & Drinks
- Booked the room with complimentary breakfast. The menu is almost the same everyday. Not much choices.

Others:
-The wifi is poor.
-Dont worry about the parking space because there is a huge parking space behind the hotel.
-Remember to request for newly renovated room as the hotel itself looks quite old from the exterior.

I stayed here with a group of friends, and we took up 5 rooms. Basically, this is a no frills budget hotel, so if you expect it as such, you will not be disappointed. Firstly, the rooms were cheap, so great value for money. Secondly, the rooms were really clean, large and comfortable. Thirdly, it is located right next to a small shopping complex (with supermarket and cinema), a duty-free departmental store, and 5-minute walk away from nice food. If you rent a car, you can basically drive anywhere in Langkawi, so location with all the amenities is a perk. Only downside of the whole stay was the breakfast. Not really worth eating. Better to just cross over to the roti prata shop across the road.
The last thing we heard was that the hotel would be going through renovations. So, I guess this would be something to look forward to when we next go to Langkawi.

It is my first time experience traveling Langkawi.I book my standard room without breakfast by booking.com advised by receptionist to get a cheapest rate price because the price could be highly expensive when i want to book directly by phone. The staff was friendly. As Art Director & Tourism Journalist, 4 star i give to them. The wifi internet is so fast because this hotel are using TM UNIFI (The most powerful highspeed internet in Malaysia provided by Telekom Malaysia).so i can do my assignment & making a live broadcasting with my lecturer without buffering. The most i loved this hotel is location.Yup, this hotel located in the heart of Kuah City which means you can walk away to the nearest tourist spot and also shopping. One more thing that i love this hotel is, beside this hotel is Teow Soon Huat Duty Free, so u can buy as much choccolate as you can without any tax or GST. But watch out to the taxi!!. Please DONT EVER USE THE TAXI because their are didnt use meter rates for charge customer. If not, be prepare to heard a riddiculous price from that taxi driver. For information, this island has didnt have any single bus in their transportation system. Kindly poor when you come here with a small budget. My suggestion, if you want to round and seeking a nice view all langkawi main island, once u arrived at Kuah Jetty or Langkawi International Airport, please take car rental at the nearest car rental booth there. For sure, in the future i will come this hotel again for a great vacation.. ^__^

I would definitely recommend people to stay at this place during their visit to Langkawi.
Best location in Kuah town. Amidst quiet environment, near to major tourist attractions like Eagle square, Legenda Park, Jetty point, shopping malls, Jetty point for Island hopping tour.
We had booked Standard room through Booking.com and had requested for early check-in. On our arrival, the check in process took a little while as there were quest for check out. However the person at front desk made sincere efforts in providing us with another room which was available.
The room we stayed in had a balcony, was compact though, had descent interiors.
Room service was offered daily. Free wifi connection was available and had good network. The room was overlooking sea. It was quiet and we have hardly experienced any disturbing noise around during night.
Jaya ma'am at the front desk was immensely helpful. I would suggest people who so ever visits this hotel, in case one needs any help with their stay, Jaya is right person to contact. She is such a sweet heart and a pure soul. Thank you jaya maam for the help and hospitality you offered us.
Location of the hotel is good as it is close to most of the tourist spots i have mentioned earlier. Langkawi as an island earns its living though tourism, hence you will find cabs here with fixed fares and generally on an expensive side. Hence if you are near to most of the tourist spots, though you may have to book a cab, travelling becomes a little less expensive.
The mall below the hotel is the best place to shop from. We purchased fruits and chocolates from there. The fruits were fresh. Chocolates were at a lesser price as compared to other shopping malls in the vicinity.
This place is best to stay during your trip to Langkawi. You save on both time and money.
I strongly recommend this place to all the tourists. I had a pleasant stay ..hope you too experience the same!!

We reached hotel around 12pm, receptionist told me that check in time is 3pm. That time my family bring all the luggages waiting for check in. They offer me to left luggage behind reception counter but they didnt offer us to register first. I know the procedure because i^m hotelier too. Receptionist is not that friendly up to my expect, there is no greeting and no eye contact. (They just busy their work, but they didnt answer in a proble way). I go to the room, maid is inside the room, they didnt inform us...I was shock because i walk to the corridor, i found that my room door is open, and maid still inside..When i enter the room, bedsheet is very dirty, stain is there. I call hskp to change it for me immediately. Bathroom is clean, but i get the smoking room because i din inform them early. THE NEXT DAY, we went to breakfast...place is quite nice...I like the breakfast very much although there are simple breakfast..choices are up to my expect! Location is good, beside was a shopping center, convenience to buy cheap chocolate.Thank you hskp that efficient, i requested the hairdryer straight away i get it!
