It’s difficult to recognize the hotel at first until Google maps points it out to you. The hotel is quite old & shabby. The corridors are dull. The lobby is shabby. Although it’s a budget hotel but the condition is quite poor. The room was spacious & the bathroom was good too in my room. But the windows are tinted so in spite of having a sea-view room I could hardly enjoy the view. The TV connection was pathetic - has only 4 channels that too all in local Malay language. The picture quality was disgusting. My room had a connecting door to the other room. Although it was locked but the occupants in the other room continuously tried opening their side of the connecting door which was quite a disturbance to me & made me feel unsafe continuously.

Stayed here for one night for transit. When the taxi dropped us off, we weren't sure this is the building because it looked so old and seems to be under construction. The lobby was dark and musky, as were the corridors. From outside, it looks like an abandoned building. I didn't feel very safe in the building.

The room was old and dated. The furnishing seems to be from the 90s. While the room was big and spacious, the aircon only cooled down half the room and the other half was felt warm and stuff. The bedsheet was stained and spotted and we found some hair as well. For some weird reason, the windows are tinted so even though we had a good view of the street below, it was still very dark in the room. There are definitely other better and newer hotels / rooms on Cenang beach.

We booked this for one night. Reception wound only provide one swipe card for the room. You could not pay extra for a second key. There were no pool towels available when we went swimming in the pool. Reception told us to let them know if there were no towels before we went swimming. We did this, however had an hour later we were still waiting for pool towels. I ended up having to walk into reception dripping wet to ask again for towels. They told us to go to our room and they would send some up. So I dripping all through the lobby and lift and hallways to our room. 5 mins later someone showed up with two pool towels.
The rooms are in dire need of repair. It’s honestly the worst kept hotel room I’ve ever been in.
Large chunks out of the walls, skirting boards missing, stained sheets. No shower curtain, rust all over the bath tub. Blood on the bathroom walls.
There is nothing about this hotel that is positive, except its location. Even their luggage storage is in an open room that can be accessed by anyone from the public. Avoid at all costs

The bathrooms are not good. We stayed in two different rooms. We faced problems for the bathrooms in both the rooms. The drainage of water from the bathroom is not proper.. this keeps the bathroom smelly all the time. The rooms are ok. And The good thing is that it's near chenang beach.

I like the hotel and the room is spacious. I was given the room at level 5. Even though it is not right at the beach but it's only few meters away from the hotel.
Wi-Fi connection is very good and I will definitely come back here again.

I'm really disappointing with front office staff, named Ros. She really rude, not helping at all. Back to my experience, I booked this resort with agent in Kuala Perlis Jetty. I was informed that the Deluxe Room was RM 140. He convince us to choose this resort due to a very good location and it cheaper than walk in price. After considering that we're travelling in a family and a baby on board, I just proceed with RM 30 deposit (paid to agent) & the balance to be pay when check in.
When my family and I reached the resort, the above mentioned front office staff informed that the price is RM 150. Even the different was just RM 10, it really make me angry when i had been answered by that lady with 'That is your problem with that agent. This is our price here. If you have problem with this, contact that agent back'.
When I told her that this issue caused by the resort official agent who doing the promotion outside, the resort must beared the different. With the prove of booking receipt which all amount clearly written by that agent, she dare doing amended on that receipt, wrote RM 150 (delete the amount RM 140 before). When I asked to sign and acknowledge that the new rate write by her, she refuse. Then she replied, 'We have a lot of agents doing promotion, not afford to monitor one by one what they doing'. And keep told me to contact that agent by myself for the wrong information given if I still not satisfied. Yes, i'm not satisfied cause at least i'm deserve for an apologize for this inconvience. I keep told her, the resort management need to responsible because it not customer fault. The management appointed the agent to promote, hence need come with fully responsible if any lack by the agent.
After a while of argument, she kept going to the back office, keep me waiting at resort lobby with no reason. She not even say sorry at all, or at least asking whether want to proceed with check in (with additional charges paid by my own or cancel the booking). Finally due my top priority is my family and it was a late afternoon with a very hot whether, I paid RM 120 (with extra RM 10) & proceed to the room.
For those who was stayed here, I believe you been received this poor hospitality. Overall, i'm only not satisfied with the service given by this staff named Ros. To management, please train your front office with the hospitality knowledge and be prepare to welcome a guest with smile as Malaysian well known in great hospitality.

Negative Points:
1) Dirty room, bedsheet, towels and carpet.
2) Avoid ROOM 305 as it has bed bugs..i woke up in middle of night thought i'd bitten by mosquitoes. Then realized the bed full with bed bugs. Made a complaint. Luckily male night shift staff by the name Jafni was helpful and moved us to another room immediately. He seems didn't puzzled with my complaint, or it had happened before??
3) The next day we were asked to move
To another room. So in 3 days we stayed in3 different rooms!
4) Unfriendly receptionists.

Positive Points:
1) Nearby shooping mall, streets with plenty choices of foods.
2) spacious room..
3) reasonable room rate.

Pls don't come here if you have other options.

The hotel/resort is on the beach side, very clean and lovely. Staff are nice and friendly. But they are always late, we had to wait 1 - 1.5 hours for our car every morning. The big boss's name is Shrukri. You should note down his mobile number and chase him to get the things done.

When we arrived, the reception said they did not have our booking or the room that we book so the reception assigned us to pick between 2 single bed rm or a double bed rm. After contacting our agent out of the blue they said 2 double bed rm is available but they way they treat us is like a dirt; with a rude, furious, angry face. And no apology at all but indirectly saying that it was our fault (eventho I book a month earlier) as they did not hv the booking with them. Overall the hospitality was really unwelcoming, the staffs need more training n i wouldn't suggest this hotel to future guest.

N we heard them gossiping about us when went over to the counter to get our towels. Please keep in mind there is no telephone in the room to contact the front desk; either u hv to walk there yourself or use your own mobile phone. Totally ruined my mood for vacation!!
