We stayed at Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang for three days. I like how stylish our room is, and I totally dig that you can actually go straight to the swimming pool from the balcony. The buffet breakfast was actually very good too. One of the things I won't forget was their mashed potato--really, really good. Location-wise, the hotel isn't beachfront, but the beach is very near, like about two-minute walk away. And I like that there are several food places near it. Plus points for having a filtered water faucet, no need for plastic bottled water! Our stay went without a hitch, I just wish that the staff were more friendly. :)

Mercure Langkawi was a superb place to stay in Chenang. The Mercure Team and the GM Ms. Jasmine Keh was so welcoming with a warmth hospitality. No other better place to stay when you visit Langkawi. With a warmth hospitality and a great accommodation offered was definitely worth every single penny. It’s conveniently located at the centre of Chenang Beach with a mall just a step away. At night you can just walk to the beach to enjoy the fire show. Will definitely come back again.

I wish to lodge a complaint about our stay in Mecure Langkawi Pantai Cenang. The service level provided by the hotel staff was too astoundingly great, that it totally changes my view of what a home away from home feels like, that I am complaining that I might never get to feel this way from any other hotel stays in future, given that the standards by your staff are set so high! Our whole group of 21 pax came to Langkawi over the weekend to participate in a cycling competition. As it was our first experience in LGK and Mecure was a perfect location to be staying at, given the great proximity to malls, food, amenities and also right next to our event venue, I approach the sales office of Mecure Langkawi to enquire. Lay Jianzhe, the sales person that attended to me was incredibly helpful in every ways, and the rest are history. From bookings to allocation of rooms, to upgrading our rooms, to seamless arrangements in checking in/checking out, packing of breakfast for everyone knowing that we will start the race early, opening the hotel side gate for us to have easy access to the event venue so we do not need to travel far, to late checkout for some of the rooms, facilitating and looking after every small details, to flying in and meeting us directly at the hotel, what more can we ask for? I am a sales representative by profession, and the fact that I am willing to praise another for the impeccable service clearly shows his dedication, commitment and passion to make the guests feel welcome in every aspects. Hats off to him and I really hope your management can confer our appreciation and recognition to him for the efforts, which is the least we can do for taking great care of us during our stay! It isn't easy to manage a big group, but he definitely live up to the task! For the staffs - from the waitresses, to the barista at the bar counter, the front desk, the concierge, to the room cleaners, clearly left a deep impression on our team. Their helpfulness, their smiles, their efforts in going all out to ensuring everyone of us feel comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing really left a memorable stay etched in our mind. Many of us are looking forward to come back to Langkawi for holidays and all have expressed our interest to book our stay with Mecure Langkawi Pantai Cenang all over again. Not because there are no other hotels around, but because of the exemplary service provided, the accessibility of the hotel and the deep impression left by your staff are second to none! As for the other details of the amenities, the rooms, the facilities etc, I guess nothing more need to be said as the reviews from other guests as well as their post have more than sufficiently describe everything! The Mercure Hotel Langkaw is an absolutely great place to stay, From checking in to checking out the service was amazing . The hotel is only two years old and the rooms are modern and very clean with huge comfortable beds and great bathrooms with the best power and rain shower combination I have known. Rooms had a kettle along with tea and coffee, also a pod coffee machine with pods cups mugs glassware mini fridge hair drier iron and ironing board room safe Huge TV with many channels and a host of free toiletries, decor and furnishings are modern and fresh Laundry service and room service is also available, The huge pool and surrounding area are cleaned early morning each day and it is a great place to relax swim and enjoy a drink or some food or a snack served by the friendly staff like Ali who made me so welcome . The staff in the hotel are top class very helpful and so friendly nothing is to much trouble for them I must thank especially Nora and Jehah from the front office for all the help and kindness they showed to me they really made my stay feel perfect , The breakfast served buffet style in the third floor restaurant has a very good selection of international food and the staff are amazing,lunch and dinner are also available in this restaurant I must also mention Murni who was so helpful. Friday and Saturday evening the hotel has a barbecue and buffet on the patio near the pool and they have a great resident band who play and sing music to suit all. The beach and shops / restaurants are around a three four minute walk away. This is my second visit and I will certainly be going back again to the Mercure Hotel its like a home from home place to stay . What I love most about our stay at Mercure Langkawi Pantai Cenang was that they have a Kids' Club where our son visited each day. The kiddie pool was also huge that even adults enjoyed it. I also love our Privilege Room that has a direct access to the pool. The hotel is also taking initiatives on protecting our planet by switching to in-room purified water, removing single-use bathroom amenities, and guests' choice on replacing sheets and towels every day. Rice Garden, their all-day dining restaurant, is where we had our daily buffet breakfast and we loved the wide variety of options. The perfect location made us explore the nearby Pantai Cenang, Duty Free Shops, and the Underwater World. Overall, we had a fun stay and we never had any problems at all. Happy with the stay, everything is brand new ! Wished the kids club had a playground but still a nice space to hang out for awhile after meals if don't want to head to the room straight away. Bfast had a few options but more european style than what we are used to for hotels in asia. Location is second to none with shops just a few minutes walk away, and the airport 10 minutes by grab.

My stay at Mercure Langkawi was highly disappointing. The view from my room was dreadful, overlooking a construction site. The noise from the construction was constant and unbearable, even late at night. The hotel's cleanliness was questionable, and the staff seemed uninterested in addressing the issues. I strongly advise looking elsewhere for a more comfortable and satisfying stay.

Stayed in tripple occupancy room, there was a king bed and single bed. Check in was slow the person was taking a while, though we had a confirmed booking full pre payment and even emailed them before coming! Size of room was smaller than we estimated. Bathroom had a foul smell many a times of drainage which made us uncomfortable. Breakfast spread was nice, milo was not available, for kids was wondering perhaps some drink could be added. Location was fabulous, lots of shops and eating places and the beach is 100 m across the road walk. Pool was good had a kids pool also. On our check out at 12 30 pm there was no concierge or person to help us load our luggage in the taxi, so we were dragging our bags with the help of taxi driver!! Overall decent stay.

Some of the staff were really helpful and lovely and some had major attitudes and were rude and it wasn't just to me, I witnessed it to others also. The hotel itself was fine and in a good location on that part of the island and very close to the beach. If you want to just lounge around by the pool here beware they don't have umbrellas to shade you from the blazing sun. Breakfast was okay.
