The pros: Room was relatively clean. Friendly staff. Front desk staff was exceptionally attentive and helpful during our stay. Location is great! The cons: Hot shower doesn’t really work (turned out to be just our room, as the hot showers of our travel mates’ rooms worked just fine), didn’t work after repair either. Housekeeping staff needs more training: every morning we would see lots of dirty dishes left piled up outside of some rooms - which is something I don’t quite often see in other hotels. Housekeeping staff kept piling clean clothes we left on our beds (t shirts we use as double pillow case for instance) onto the sofa on top of our other clothes much to our annoyance Breakfast spread was good, taste wise was mediocre. There were other issues too but I think it all boils down to lack of training and communication between the staff members. All in all great location and facilities, but quality of service left much to be desired.…

Being an ex hotelier from the same brand, Ms Seri, FOM was very kind to accede to my request and even took time to meet me during check in. Special thanks to her for making our stay a memorable one! Guest ambassador, concierge team and restaurant staffs were all kind and helpful. Executive chef and Director of F&B were attentive and made their presence felt in the restaurant during breakfast. An amazing sight to see GM patrolling and doing site inspection all the way to the beach, ensuring everything is up on par with the brand standard, truly shows the great spirit of team effort in this new gem! Housekeeping team could be better as the toilet reek of smell from sewage, stains and moulds were seen on drainage cover, hairs were seen around the hotel room and toilets, balcony side table was not cleaned and ants were seen everywhere. Moulds were already forming around silicone edges. Goose down pillows had stench to it and had Asst housekeeping manager changed to polyester pillow during our second night. I am certain these are wear and tear issues that can be rectified immediately :) Despite the slight inconvenience, the hotel still exceeded all our expectations and will definitely be coming back to stay again in the future. The breakfast was not worth the price. The food was not that good. Better to book without the breakfast. You can get nicer and cheaper food outside. There is a playground pool and playground for kids where My kids had lots of fun.

This hotel I was told opened in Feb this year. I was lucky enough to get the promotion where I received: - daily breakfast - 3 course dinner daily - free airport transfer to hotel only - 50% off dining Daily Breakfast - great variety, usual eggs where chef cooks to your liking, pastries, curries, roti, Asian porridge etc 3 course dinner - it’s a limited menu but still very good as each meal would cost over $40 ringgit 50% off dining - this is awesome for lunch which is the same menu as dining. I stayed for 2 days so by that time we pretty much ate the menu. Anymore days I would suggest eating somewhere else. Hotel rooms is the same as pictured. We had the ocean view as the promotion was the same price as non ocean view. Since you won’t be in the room it doesn’t really matter. There are two main pools, level 5 ( under maintenance )and ground. Pool is 120cm in depth and there is playground pool area for the kids. We spent all our time here. The sea is pretty rough so wouldn’t suggest swimming in it and there are warning signs of jellyfish. Overall great experience but anymore than 3 days is going to be a bore if you are not planning to do anything else.…

Parkroyal Langkawi has the best service and their staffs are well trained. I felt welcomed during my stay in the hotel. And lastly, believe me, they had the best ever sunset view along Pantai Cenang. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family. 👍🏻

First time visiting Langkawi Island for business trips and attending an event at Park Royal Hotel. Langkawi is truly a magical island and I am grateful to have stayed at Park Royal since everything in here was so amazing, the location, accommodation, restaurants, and the most important thing was the hospitality and services delivered by each member of the hotel staff was really great. Park Royal has a private beach that faces to the west, and it is the perfect spot to experience the beautiful sunset. Spacious room and clean. Great buffet breakfast. enjoying afternoon at the bar. Something wrong the the Aircond when the door open, the room condensation and wet. others are good. quite place, can hear waves sound. there are strays dogs at the beach, dangerous if jogging early morning.

We had a pleasant stay in Parkroyal Langkawi Resort. Overall stay is good but was quite disappointed with the foods and customer service experience at front desk registration. 14/9@3.30pm- first impression towards the hotel registration staff is terrible. Highlight 1 registration staff counter during our check in moment. We were queuing, was told to wait as she need to attend other customer. Fair enough,she told us will be attended shortly but to our surprise, she attended to the customer after us. It’s quite disappointing and our first impression is terrible. First time encounter 5star hotel registration staff not being courteous. Hopefully it does not happen to other customer. Finally, we were attended by another registration staff after a long wait. She is nice, friendly and our check in processed was fast. 2nd experience is the breakfast food quality not so good. 3rd experience-sizzle by the beach buffet is atrocious. Pricey and not up to the standard. Fish were charred, taste super bitter.…
