We turned up at around 7pm on a Friday with nowhere booked and were worried we'd havenowhere to stay untill we found this place; a real life saver. I think its farly new, probably why there were rooms available, and also explains the really cheap room, only 50 ringet for a double room with a fan. Rooms were clean and comfy and had little pourches to sit out on Lovely comunal area to watch TV or eat the build your own breakfast, again very reasonably priced. The location is about 5 min walk from the beach and main road, which means its quiet and has a lovley county setting, with geese, cows and kittens always somewhere nearby.

I stayed at Soluna Guest House with my husband for 1 week. Everything is perfect. Seriously! And not just because everything is clean, organized and has Internet access, but because it is a place of peace. Claudia, the owner, is a lovely person... And she makes a wonderful breakfast. The environment, like a farm, is amazing for relax, make friends, enjoy the starry sky... I really miss that guest house. For me, the best one I've stayed. Can trust!

Great place for backpackers or budget travellers. Nice quiet location and only 5 minutes walk to the main beach, bars and restaurants. Very clean rooms with either fan or aircon option. We liked it here that much we extended our 3 night stay to 10 nights.

We booked one nights stay at another guest house when we first arrived in Langkawi to give us time to find somewhere longer term and luckily we stumbled upon a Soluna guest house flier in one of the travel agents on Cenang beach. We went later that day to have a look and were immediately impressed. We had been backpacking already for 3 months so a clean bed, nice bathroom were the main things we looked for as a minimum but basic was fine. It wasn't always easy to find this on a budget but as soon as we arrived at Soluna we thiught we had struck gold! we were greeted by a friendly face, Claudia, one of the co-owners, amongst a few kittens, cats, a couple of chickens, two cows and a calf in the neighbouring field and a few smiling local Malaysian faces too. The place has a really
