Soluna has got everything I want from a guesthouse. It has a really quiet friendly vibe. To me everything is excellent. The location is good, too. There are different price ranges. And each of them is a good deal. I am still staying here, and I always would come back
I found that place here on TripAdvisor and found was lucky enough to got a room. I stayed there finally for six nights and I really enjoyed it. It is quite calm and the garden is a great place just to hang around and read a book. The beach is 5 min walk away as plenty of restaurants. Nothing you will miss. Claudia, the owner from the north of italy, is very helpful with everything. You can see that she built up and made this place to what it is now with her heart. I highly can recommend the guest house.
Set back from the main road in fields yet a short walk to the beach and shops this small guest house ticks a lot of boxes. Good sized rooms reasonably priced a fridge for guests use books to borrow a sitting area tea and coffee available small sitting areas attached to each room with a washing line. The room we had was spacious with plenty of storage and ensuite. Bed v comfy. My only concern was that the airport was so close but once in the room itvwas quiet and even outside the noise was not intrusive. This is a great spot.
Perfectly located in a quiet area within walking distance of Cenang Beach. Friendly and laid back owners and staff. Very clean and comfortable at a superb price. There is reasonable wifi access and some lovely restaurants nearby (Adn is recommended). We spent four nights here and would've happily stayed longer.
We stayed 4 amazing nights at Soluna guesthouse and couldn't be happier! This place feels like home and the staff is very friendly and helpful and you get to meet and socialize with travelers from around the world. It also has a great location , while surrounded by a green field it is 5 minute walk to beach and Main Street. You can also rent a scooter from the guesthouse to explore the island. Overall, my best stay during my 2 week trip in Malaysia and Bali and definitely gonna come back again! ❤️❤️
After 4 1/2 months traveling, needed a break and lay on the beach I could not have found a better guesthouse. Immaculate rooms, and dorm. Amazing area for socializing, or just laying in a hammock. Always smiling, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Short walk to beach, and night markets. I had a difficult time leaving. Loved my time and will be back!
After almost 11 month of travelling in SE Asia, Soluna is by far the best guesthouse we've been to. We stayed for 1,5 month in a double room with a private bathroom for an amazing price of 55 RM/night (usual price 60 RM, 5 RM discount if staying 7 nights or more). The room was very cosy, clean and well equipped (The big table was great for a comfortable computer work, and we really appreciated a proper wardrobe, so that we could take stuff out of our backpacks for once :D ). There's a nice, fairly spacious patio in front of every room, and a beautiful garden with a lot of space for morning yoga :) The common area around the reception is a perfect place to relax and meet fellow travellers, or chat with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful rural setting and cute kitties…
I stayed here for 4 nights and loved my time. The shared/common area is perfect for hanging out and relaxing. The weather was at times rainy and overcast, so the covered outdoor space provided me with couches and hammocks to pass the time in! There are plenty of little kitty friends as well. The rooms are fine, and the beds comfortable. Quite a lot of mosquitos in the bathroom, but that's the only negative! Beach is a 5 minute walk, and the guesthouse is located near other cute hostels. Loved the location and scenery! I think this is definitely one of the best finds for budget backpackers at only 20 rm per night (5 usd).
Stayed in a double room with fan and shared bathroom. The room is clean. It has big window so there is a good ventilation for the room. There's a personal sitting area (patio) outside overlooking paddy field and you can see some cows and buffalos. The area is quite windy and quiet, we accidentally took a 10 - 15 mins nap before checkout. They provide a gazebo near the field and some hammocks at the common area. Shared bathroom is clean. You cant see the beach from Soluna, but its only 5mins away by foot. Highly recommended and definitely will stay there again on our next visit.
