All rooms are Double or Twin rooms, furnished with dressing table, wardrobe and private sitting area outside the room, overlooking our spacious garden. Our Dormitory has a capacity of 10 persons and is fitted with dressing tables and safety lockers. All bathrooms (private and shared) have hot shower facility. The outdoor communal lounge is ideal to socialize and meet fellow travelers, or just relax in one of the hammocks and enjoy the garden and view. It has books, seating area and a common kitchenette. Free WiFi is available throughout the property.

Солуна гестхаус оказался островком тишины - он находится в закутке, в дали от шума, при этом в 5 минутах от главного пляжа. Приветливый персонал, чистая, простая, европейского типа комната с удобным душем и туалетом, полотенцами и окнами и маленькой тераской. Номер стоил 50 рингит за дабл с вентилятором, в этом же номере могут включить кондиционер, тогда будет 65 рингит. Рядом оказалась волшебная кухарка Ида, которая за 3-5 рингитов готовила ооооочень вкусные рис и лапшу в омлете, из всей малайской кухни это было самое вкусное что я ела! Изъездив остров, не нашли места приятнее!

Cozy Rooms with AC or Fan. Beautiful Garden. Super friendly Staff. Outdoor Kitchen where you can cook by yourselfe. Very clean Rooms with Room service every 3 Day's. The Location is very quite. Perfect to relax. We stayed here for more than 2 Week's.

Stayed here for 4 nightsit it was very lovely. My 1 year old daughter had fun playing with the cats and chasing chikens or just running around .😂😂. The room is basic but perfect. A/c works perfectly fine. They always making sure the place is clean and it was. You can rent scooter with them with a good price or if you dont want to , beach and nightlife street is just a walking distance with a great peaceful view. The receptionist Nadia and Man are awesome. Will come back again soon!

I went to this place with frns . The place allows you to cook your own food. The owner is friendly and they also offer bikes on rent. The rooms are clean and reasonable. Very near to the pentai cenang beach and main pentru senang street. Its a basic hotel but clean .

Really enjoyed myself here and the room was very spacious and clean. The bed was incredibly comfy. The owner/staff were very friendly and it wasn’t too far to walk to the beach. We had a few problems with the air con but they were sorted very quickly. The only bad thing was the location was in basically a field. The walk home was often very dark and we felt a little unsafe. Would be better if it was more lit at night. Overall a lovely stay and would recommend.

This Guesthouse is amazing. Relaxed with hammocks, kitchen, nice people and enough to do. Man and Nadia are good hosts and it's clean. You want to stay here 4ever😉 if you are travelling alone it is a great place to stay

I stayed at Soluna Guest house for three nights. I must share with all that my stay was relaxed and one of the most beautiful experiences while in langkawi Island. To begin with, the staff was very very polite, helpful and always smiling. They are always eager to help. Nadia and Man have been warm hosts. The thing I loved the most at Soluna was that I could hear birds chirping all day long during my stay. I woke up to melodious chirping and while I rested on the net, reading my book, I could hear the cookoo singing.
Nadia and Man have been very helpful in suggesting where to go and what to eat in langkawi. I had long conversations with both of them during my stay. They know a lot about cultures and Bollywood :P Don't miss the night food market, don't miss the music and dance on the beach. You can also ask Nadia or Man ( at the reception) to book Island hopping tours, scuba diving, or other adventures on the island and the service providers will pick you from the guest house ( what's better than that ?)
The rooms have A.C and are quiet. The bathrooms are clean and have all amenities. Please bring your own soap and toothpaste though. Towels are provided.
Cats- the place is full of pet cats who you will find sleeping all day or cuddling the guests or their siblings. The one named 'Chai' is a celebrity. Everyone wants to hold Chai in their hands. The guests staying at Soluna are also very nice. I mingled with them and had memorable conversations.
The walk to the beach from Soluna is a bit harsh for those who are old or have week legs but I found it a nice refreshing walk. I takes only 10 -15 mins to walk to the beach (the only price one must pay to stay in a guest house while being surrounded with nature).
If you hate staying in square concrete rooms (hotels) and love enjoying subtleties of life and are travelling to relax and chill, then I strongly suggest Soluna Guest House for your stay in Langkawi. Oh!! BTW they are usually booked all round the year and I got real lucky with them.

Cannot rate this place high enough. Ended up staying here for about two weeks and could have stayed even longer. Such a peaceful, quiet retreat. It is only a short walking distance from the main strip in Cenang for people wanting to go to all of the restaurants and bars and the beach. Soluna is a beautiful place to relax and feel at home whilst travelling. You can rent scooters from them and book other activities as well. The staff and owner are absolutely lovely and make you feel so welcome. We stayed in both the dorms and the private rooms and both were great. The common areas make it quite easy to chat to other travellers and get to know people. There was also a little of kittens when we stayed there which are unbelievably cute!!

Das Soluna ist ein wundervoller, friedlicher Fleck abseits, aber nicht weit weg vom zweifelhaften Troubel am Pantai Chenang. Unser Zimmer war schön und sauber, die Gemeinschaftsbereiche haben wir uns mit super netten Mitreisenden und niedlichen, gepflegten Katzen geteilt. Es wird auch gespendetes Futter für ein Straßenkatzenprojekt auf Langkawi gesammelt. Als auf Grund eines starken Gewitters der Strom ausfiel, hat sich das Personal vorbildlich verhalten, alles wurde schnell repariert und mehrmals nachgefragt, ob alles wieder in Ordnung ist. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Staff are lovely, very good location just far enough away not to be disturbed but a 5 min walk from the main strip and beach. Great restaurants there. The guest house.. was quiet, the bedroom was large but outdated. The pillows where rock hard. Literally rock hard. The bed itself was comfortable. The bathrooms where not clean. Mosquitos everywhere in the bathrooms. And every time you took a shower the toilet seat got completely soaked. I used nearly a whole roll of toilet tissue in 3 days just wiping it down before using. Would recommend if on a budget like we are but you could probably find nicer places if you had more cash to spend.

"I stayed in the dorm for air con as I was traveling alone (on the advice of another traveler) and didn't want to pay for a whole room just for aircon. If you're traveling with a friend/partner, get the aircon room. It's worth the value."
