For the price, this place exceeded my expectations in many ways. The room was spacious and a comfortable super king sized bed. Generally very clean. Only thing is the floor a bit sticky. They should maybe give it a better mopping. The breakfast is at the roof top which is a nice place with good view. The buffet breakfast is rm25 which is not too bad. The one thing that i love most is the beach bar which i can just relax by the beach. The location of the hotel is really ideal because there are many food outlets just outside and because it is almost the end of cenang beach, the crowd is not as bad as the mid section of the beach.

I stayed from 28 August 2023 till 1 September 2023. When i want to book, o read the review, all was good. Upon my check in, I was shocked! 1) aircon full of dust. I believer there didnt do any aircon cleaning or servicing. 2) mosquito was every where in the room. Lucky my wife have the mosquito patch. 3) The curtain had a bad smell and fall off when i pull softly to cover the window. But didnt cover the curtain fully. 4) Toilet, So-So. Had to buy bleach to clean it. Even though the price for 5 days was affordable, at least have abit of effort to do something to the list mention above. We paid for it. Not for free. Not recommended for family with children or fussy people. 👎👎👎👎

We had stayed in the beach front cottages before, and liked being directly on the beach. The location was the main reason we booked this hotel, although the hotel rooms in the main building are much better. We enjoyed being able to walk straight onto the beach from our front door. Unfortunately the cottages are now being neglected, look very tired with paint peeling off, and cracks in the pillars supporting the porch. We also had to call their repair team in to deal with squeaking doors, and other minor faults. They chalets definitely are in need of some TLC, although the ones directly facing the beach are actually more expensive than some of the room in the modern hotel block facing the main road. Location, location, location! One thing that has improved is the breakfast buffet, served on the top floor of the main building. It still is fairly modest, concentrating on Malay food like rice and noodles, but now there is an egg station and a basic salad bar. And if you're lucky there is more than one type of fruit on offer. The coffee is pretty much undrinkable. The staff is a bit lethargic, you need to remind them several times to get something done, although some of the are very sweet. This hotel/resort was previously the Langkapuri Inn.

A good budget choice hotel. Room was big. Bathroom needs a refurbishment. Noise from adjoining rooms late at night. Fantastic view from our 3rd floor room. Great location right on the beach. Didn’t eat here so can’t comment on the food. Plenty of choice of restaurants right outside the hotel.

Really liking our stay here in the 5 storey building with lovely view of the sea from the balcony. Nothing to fault. Staff, clean rooms and breakfast all up to standard. Location could not be better. Has main street frontage as well as being right on the beach. Lots of restaurants, duty free shopping and spas all around. Food van street for local food opens at sunset about 30 meters away. Location is 50m from Underwater World. Langkapuri Resort also has cottage accommodation.

We spent a week in this resort , it is quite modest but offers an excellent location great facilities and very welcoming staff we had a small issue with the location of our friends villa which was supposed to neighbour ours but didn’t when this was mentioned the staff immediately dealt with it and rearranged both ours and their villas so that we would be next to each other . We would definitely recommend this property and would stay again if in the area/.

We got a room on the beach itself. It was clean, the sheets were clean, bathroom was clean. And the location of the hotel is really convenient as it was in Chenang itself. The hotel is right beside the famous Yellow Cafe. Breakfast buffet in the hotel was not too bad. But you are in Chenang, the street is filled with eateries. Only downside was we our room was in between two really loud noisy families. And in fromt of the hotel, there's some kinda construction going on, so the roads are a bit rough. The plus side was the management took a point to address the noisy families at 2am. Really kind and helpful frontdesk too. This place is value for money. Will come back here definitely. 💗

We stayed here for 3d2n (30 dec til 1 jan 2017) celebrating new year. I booked 3 months earlier. The staffs gave me prompt reply. Very helpful and informative without hassle. Love the rooms (new building). Spacious and clean. Very convenient. Walking distance to the most happening area in Langkawi (Cenang Beach). Everything is here. The food. the night market, the bazaar, Underwater World. Eventhough the place is one of the most hectic spot (heavy traffic) but if you stay at this area, everything is walking distance. you can easily hire a motorcycle for RM25 per day too. What bothered us most were the dust due to the massive construction work in Cenang.
