It is in isolated, uninterruptable location in north Lankawi. All day long, you can hear the sound of waves, really 24/7/365 "on your bed". Room is spacious. Breakfast is provided. Restaurant is just next to the residence. Main menu is fish n chips with several different fishes. It is okay and we had steak, too. It was a little bit salty in my palate, but soft enough. This residence is good for beach vacation with reasonable price.

What a gem this place is. We chose the place only because I wanted to wake up every morning to a beach front. I didnt expect the whole place to be wonderful. From the spacious room, to the clean bathroom and the wonderful patio, this resort was beyond what I expected. Not for those seeking high end living, the basic needs are met - wifi, kettle, water bottles, fridge, aircond, tv, towels and the sound of waves all day. The beach is exquisite and the water may not be clear, but it’s gorgeous enough for a swim and a dip. Weather turned out great too. I will definitely come back again. Thanks Labu Labi residence for making my trip to Langkawi perfect.

Clean beach, quiet place(we were there during an off peak season). Liza and her family were really nice and helpful. The room was simple and clean. The beach just outside our door. If you want a nice quiet holiday this is the place. The mom cooked some of our meals and she is a wonderful cook. I would go back if I have a chance to visit Langkawi again

We were looking for somewhere to chill in the middle of a SE Asian break. Looking at the photos and reading the reviews we thought this was it. How wrong we were. Now we're no strangers to Asia and have stayed in some delightful, simple beach front resorts. If its clean and well maintained we aren't hard to please. The view is lovely, I'll give it that. The rest is appalling. The beach is dirty. The sunbeds broken with no cushions on offer. In our room the sheets, though clean, were grey. The electrical connections were through huge multi plug adaptors. It bore no resemblance to the website. The seating area outside the chalet (better classed as a hut) consisted of two immovable rusty metal seats. Thoroughly uncomfortable and not somewhere you could have relaxed for a…

We have stayed at Labu labi for 5 nights. The bungallows are located directly at the beach. The view is fantastic. When we were here the beach was almost empty. The beach is very clean. Above all of this, the host Liza is extremly friendly. We felt like at home. This was the best place during our trip in Malaysia. Would definetly love to come back!!!
