Dewani Villa is indeed a good place to stay. The atmosphere is so calm and quiet. It is also clean and well managed. The staff is friendly and the hospitality given to us is perfect. The food is tasty and you should try the nasi lemak sambal. I am sure come again and this time definitely with my husband. Last but not least I strongly recommended to those who wants to have a peacefull holiday, this is the place for you.

We booked a family villa and 2 twin rooms. Overall the rooms was clean and the compound was nice and well landscaped. Breakfast was ok but the water pressure was very low during the day. Especially 1-2 hours prior to check-out hour. Thats the only downfall for this resort. Hope they can find solution to fix it.

Room Tip: Be extra careful with the access card. Large family tends to lose it and ended up paying fine.

This hotel has been recently revamped and is a comfortable place to stay. Bit far from the main attractions of Langkawi and not much of a view. Good value for money could make it a convenient stop for those traveling on tight budget. The rooms are basic and very clean. Free wifi is a nice plus.

Booked 3d 2nite a Family villa comes with a hall, master room with king size bed and kids room with 2 single beds. Breakfast was simple Malaysian flare nasa lemak and mee goreng. Clean establishment surrounding room, washroom and pool too. Staff very accommodating thumb up. This place located in the middle of the island so its better to rent a car. A very nice and peaceful stay good place to spent family time. 15 min to kuah town. 20 min to pantai chenang, 20 min to cable car, 15 min to jetty. 15min to pantai kok & 15min to skytrax.

we had booked this hotel during sept 15, however when we rch the hotel on 9 nov, just found out that this hotel jus change their management and cause issued on the payment. however, my wife and i found that the hotel crew is good and kind. they allow my wife to store the breast feeding milk to their freezer and the cafe mak cik is very kind old lady. anyhow, if u don't mind to stay in a rural area...this will be the best place wit a silent environement.

Went to Langkawi for a short holiday with my family. Stayed for 2 nights & truly enjoyed my stay. Only 7-10 mins drive from the airport..passing through scenic countryside consisting of quaint little towns, villages & paddy fields. Absolutely stunning view. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast were simple but the food were DELIGHTFUL. The room that my sis booked for us was a family deluxe room (1 queen & 1 twin room). The room is clean, comfy and quite spacious (there were 6 of us in a room!). i have one suggestion though, would be nice if they could provide a hairdryer & extra mirror (they only have mirrors in the shower) ;)

15 to 20 min to town. Service there is good. Giving us a clean hotel. Satisfy with their toilet as well. Silent places for couple and near a famous restaurant name 'Siti Fatimah' . Need to go through small road and the road is dark during the night. Prefer getting a car or cab to the destination because it might be a long walk from the hotel to town. Counter service is good. Even after 3pm, there is always workers there. They also serve breakfast. Not much choice. Only tea coffee and orange juice while food they only have fried noodles , nasi lemak , toast , scramble egg and sausage.

The place is about 10 minutes drive to Kuah Town and just 2 minutes walk to Mahsuri Memorial. Sits in the quite village, it is a great place to be if you love nature and serenity. The staffs are eager to help although some of them have poor command of english language. Breakfast was just basics, just enough to kick start your day. A great place to stay if you are looking for a cheap, quite and peacefull place. Will be coming here again, sure.

You might have read my initial positive review about this place but it was a nightmare experience this time around. We booked via Agoda and due to some hiccups we reached quite late for the check in. Guess what?? No one at the reception! There was one room key left on the reception table and we assumed that it was ours. Didn't have the energy to wait up any longer. Later in the morning we found out the key was indeed ours. Fast forward to day 3; after an awesome outing at Cenang we're back at the hotel all tired and ready to sleep. No one at the reception! We waited for almost 30 minutes. The only available number to call is the reception. After a while, a guy came and we got our keys. We retreated back to our rooms and after a cold shower (heater wasn't working), we were ready to sleep when it started to rain heavily outside. At about 4.30am I woke up to go to the bathroom and realised that the whole room was FLOODED!!! I quickly rescued my laptop which was on the floor. Once all the important intems secured, I tried calling the reception, hoping someone would be available to help. No one answered!!! We hardly slept and managed to pull through the night without any major incident. In the morning, the water subsided but the room was muddy and filled with leeches. Yes, blood sucking leeches. We immediately packed and left. What upsets us is that no hotel personnel were available in an emergency situation as such. We were left in a limbo when the responsibility clearly lies in the hotel to make sure their guest are all safe let alone be comfortable.
