After 2yrs at looking at this place online, I’m finally here, I was seeking a relaxing 3 night trip away & glad I finally made the booking & stayed..!!! After a hiccup upon arriving (waiting 30mins on lounges, plus no butler to show us around) we ventured off to our rooms and took advantage of what the resort has to offer Those seeing surf & swim-able ocean, then go to another resort, this is at the southern end, whilst I knew that and wasn’t looking to swim in the ocean, this didn’t effect my stay. The pool has to be one of the best! The resort is exclusive, quiet and just right for a single or solo traveller, whilst some rooms have private plunge pools, I did see children roaming around, but prob recommend other resorts if you have children (ie Westin next door)
Really i will not forget this 2 days this hotel like paradise every thing very clean and organized very quite you will enjoy every minute the staff very polite and friendly specially amin he was so nice and the food very tasty after the 2days we enjoyed the lounge in the airport thanks for everything
The 3 of us stayed at the pool suite and it was excellent. Fairly spacious pool which has a doorway that opens straight to the beach. Fine dining at Kayuputi was also excellent albeit very expensive! Bfast spread was good as well. The only letdown was the beach. Hotel was located at the tail end of the sea hence practically there was NO seabreeze and NO waves. The sea water was very muddy and icky. I stepped inside for less than a minute and disgustedly came out of the water. There was also lack of sea breeze hence sea water was stagnant and lack the soothing sound of the waves. I dont think you can even fly a kite by the beach. Such a letdown because for a beach vacation, these elements were abcence which marred our holiday a bit.
What I hate: Poor customer service attitude. Rude treatment by an employee when I called in. We were also given the wrong room type when we checked in. The Room Division Manager was rather defensive when trying to explain things via email. I told the Duty Manager that I would want to talk to either the GM of the hotel or the Director of Operations, Ms Natasha Low, but irresponsive. I guessed they just couldn't care less. I guessed that explained the poor service quality. I've stayed at other St Regis and Marriott hotels in other countries but never encountered any issues. My daughter stayed at this hotel end of last year. She was locked out of the room for about 30 minutes due to a faulty lock. Guess what? They made her wait outside the room watching them repairing the lock. In addition to the above, although I had requested an extra bed when making the reservation (which was confirmed by a front desk staff upon checking in), it was somehow not delivered. What I Like: The Security Personnel manning the hotel entrance were very polite The restaurant crews were amazing - very friendly, helpful & made you feel welcome. (Perhaps they should replace the Room Division people for a change?) Am I going to stay here again? Definitely No. There are many better alternatives around to choose from.…
Our 3 days of honeymoon at St Regis LGK was a remarkable experience which both of us could never forget! Everyone were very welcoming from the start until the end of our journey. Thanks to your staff alif.z (barista kayuputi) for serving the most delicious drink and dessert , belle (our butler) for the amazing service. View 10/10 Environment 10/10 Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Thanks you st regis langkawi See u soon ♥️ From Aina and Safwan
We had a wonderful holiday in St Regis Langkawi . Not only the hotel and surroundings were great but also staff made it like home to us. Seeing everyone smiling and helping us and being very friendly yet professional means a lot to us. We are already missing them a lot. Everyone was awesome all part of the hotel. Naming a few I can remember the butler Belle, with her beautiful notes and treats to our room everyday. Guys at the beach bar Jay, Aiman, AM, Hafiz just I can remember for now but everyone was great. From the executive level to all the way through. I can’t wait to go back again.
Fantastic stay with top notch service. Waiting to come back every minute! Thumbs up to all the team members especially Nitha and Wilfred from front office. F&B was good in recovery, housekeeping has kept their standards in place despite the endemic. Well done team you guys are a “keeper”
Writing this review live from St Regis Langkawi, as we’re sipping iced cappuccinos under our shaded pool cabana. Everything has been perfect since our arrival 5 days ago, from the effortless and welcoming check-in to the last day of our stay. The service team went above and beyond to showcase their hospitality, every encounter was made perfect with genuine smiles and courteous service language. Our butler Farhan brought in kids’ amenities ranging from bath toiletries , colouring books to unicorn and doughnut floats , without any prompting from us. Our little boy was ecstatic playing in the private pool with his floats. Although we did not make use of the ironing service and only requested coffee twice from the butler , the services were offered to us numerous times. Dining at Kayuputi is an experienced not to be missed, Chef Mandy and her team delivered masterpieces not just tantalising to the palates but equally appealing to the eyes. She even offered our child a photo opportunity with the entire kitchen team. The beach is indeed undesirable to a certain extent, water was murky and pieces of sharp corals found by the shore, but the beach experience did not ruin our overall stay because everyone from the service team made up for all the inadequacies. We’re very pleased with our room which offers a spacious outdoor lounging area and a back door with direct access to the beach. Our pool cabana offers a good view of the sea and the private pool is of a decent size with a small jacuzzi area. It took us awhile to figure out the light switches but it wasn’t a big deal; pillows were a tad too high and hard for our likings but housekeeping team immediately offered a lower down pillow upon receiving our feedback. If you’re travelling with young kids , please be informed that the hotel does not offer kids’ club but they do offer daily kids’ activities suited for all weather conditions. Our child participated in the junior chef program and made a delicious pizza , he was alone during fish feeding sessions and won a scavenger hunt medal too. Those travelling with children are highly encouraged to book rooms with private pools as the main pool seems small and too quiet. All in all, we’ve had lots of fun and already planning our return next year.…
Our 4 days of stay with St Regis LGK was a remarkable experience which both of us could never forget! Everyone were very welcoming from the start until the end of our journey. Thanks to Emily from Reception for the free upgrade of suite room to ensure that we enjoy our honeymoon to the fullest. Many thanks to our butler, Nazif who managed to give us a room and hotel tour in such a big building and never fails to leave our room squeaky clean after every turndown services. Thanks to the people at Pantai Grill Bar for serving the most delicious tacos and pizza and successfully realised the small surprise which my husband has planned for our anniversary despite the rainy weather. Thanks to Anas from Recreation for giving us the opportunity to learn how to kayak at a peaceful beach for free. All in all, till we meet again soon St Regis Langkawi as we will surely come again for our next trip ☺️ Sincerely from both of us, Aziz & Dina…
This is our second time here and we absolutely enjoyed our stay here. My wife and I were here for our honeymoon as our main honeymoon plans got scraped because of covid. We still had the best time! My summaries as per below: Breakfast They have multiple stations serving a variety of food. Notable items for me personally would be their Lobster omelette, Nasi Lemak and their cold cuts station (try them all seriously!). In short, you would definitely enjoy their breakfast spread. Outdoor Activities Since it's our honeymoon, we decided to do kayaking as we have never done kayaking before. the experience in itself was truly amazing. We took the kayak tour and was led by their staff, Anas. Special shoutout to Anas because during our Kayak experience, the tide was a bit on the stronger side and my wife and I couldn't paddle our way back. Anas was calm and collected, redirected us back to our initial checkpoint (the shipwreck) and towed us back to the hotel (thanks Anas!). Room We got the pool suite for 3 nights. the room, as per usual, is gorgeous. you would have direct access to the beach, have your own cabana space to just chill and bask in the sun.…
